It really is sad, I was in the same boat as you. Before porn, I only visualized sex as a joint activity that would be between two people who love and appreciate each other and my ideals were that sex was purely a way for two people in love to deepen their bond together. It’s sad that’s not the norm anymore.

Places like r/NoFap (idk if that's what it's stilled called) are the only ones that acknowledge the mental harm porn does to its users.

Over time your brain will recover once you go cold turkey, especially if you haven't been a heavy user from an early age. Porn is always disgusting and since I refuse to be treated like a poor woman on those videos, it is always a deal breaker.
