So I had to share my small win - I have finally (after way too long) deleted my ex's contact info from my phone.

Context: I had been with my ex for 3ish years (19-22 - yes I know, very young). I broke up with him last March. We didnt talk until July and I made the poor decision to start sleeping with him in November.

During our relationship, he was constantly cheating on me (and I mean constantly) and I dealt with that for some reason. Once we broke up and started sleeping together, he treated me even worse. Ghosting, false promises, general f*ckboy stuff.

Once I joined FDS, it became obvious that I was clearly the side chick he saw once a week and then hung out with his actual girl over the weekends. Well, this weekend was the final straw (after many many straws I know). He said he wanted to hang out over the weekend and didnt even want to sleep together on Friday. Ghosted me all weekend and havent heard from him since.

It took a long time but I realized I am worth so much more than what he was giving me. I got my degree in chemical engineering in 2019, have had a career job since graduating, have my own apartment and savings, and I am generally a nice person.

I havent had any luck on dating sites so I deleted them all and will give it a shot at being single and loving myself. Im 23 and its hard knowing how young I am but I know this will be good for me.

I guess what Im trying to say is - thank you FDS for showing me what Im worth and helping me overcome my (stupid) emotions.
