Never again. I was going to therapy to get over my dad ignoring me and favouring my brother, and what my therapist did was exsusing my dad and blaming ME.
I'm def not saying male therapists aren't good, but that "bro code" is so deep rooted they subconsciously exsuse men's actions when a man is to blame

I have always had a female therapist, just like I will only go to a female gynecologist. I would suggest avoiding him, or, if you're feeling bold and not tired of the world, challenge him on his crap. Or alert others to it.

I wonder if this guy could be reported to professional organizations? If he's going around promoting unhealthy views I think that's something that they would not look very highly on.
