It depends who's making the music! I feel like there definitely been a shift from 90s RNB where they were more sort of mushy love songs, where as now it's essentially f*ckboys and pickmes singing I guess. I think as generations change and norms change music often changes to reflect that - this is an increasingly sex focuses and toxic relationship glorifying generation so music and that revolves around relationships reflect that in order to sell.

I think you just have to find the right artist tbh :/

Very much mostly LVMs now but it wasn’t always that way. Hip hop has influenced it to be much more about manipulation and abuse

I don't listen to male artists a lot. Only a couple that never sing about women. It's just too much bullshit in lyrics for me.

Depends on the song I guess. Brian McKnight Back at One is anything but lvm esque.
