YES! This attitude helped me so much with learning to dismiss the opinions of the Pickme's around me no matter how much they peck, peck, peck in unison. Women who were clearly very miserable with their lives as baby-mamas to multiple LVM's were telling me I'd better hurry up and settle for any old clown with viable sperm before it's too late for kids. Like, YOU'RE not happy with the results of choosing that, so why the HELL would I follow advice that you obviously regret living.

This is so true. There were many people who attempted to "correct" my opinion about life, relationship or men. It was only proven that they themselves had miserable lives. I could not count how many times other women on Reddit told me that "You seem to hate men and that is wrong! We need to be NICE!" And the same women keep venting about being treated like garbage in their relationships.

Like, come on. Why would I ever need to copy the life from doormats? Why is this the case 100% of the time? How could so many people never wake up to the truth and realize the cause of their misery?

This does not help me.

A couple I know have a life much better than my own and something I want for myself. They travel, go do fun activities, have a nice house and cars, and fun happy intelligent well behaved children for the most part.

They have a much better emotional well-being than I do. They are emotionally stable and always laughing and cracking jokes.

But they were trying to convince me I need to accept porn use in my relationships and that I’d be alone forever if I don’t.

Furthermore they would poke fun at something that they knew I was sensitive about and told me to stop being so sensitive and “we didn’t know you didn’t like jokes, we will stop joking around near you”
