I'm(28F) a late bloomer and last year was my first forray into dating. It was abysmal. I was used. Then I got my heart broken and I finally feel pretty well over it. Most days anyway.
I have a uni degree and I had a pretty decent job as a retail manager. However I hated it. I ride horses and because of my horse and gas expenses I couldn't afford to move out of my parents place. This is a huge dating insecurity but 95% of the time I'd rather the horse than a boyfriend anyway. Horses don't break your heart.
I quite the retail job in Oct 2019 and I haven't been this happy for a long time even though Im just working part time where I ride. I've started a better skin care routine and taken up yoga in the morning.
That said I had big plans for 2020 for travel and moving to a different city for horse related work which are now down the drain.
Any advice for how I can feel like I'm making progress again, instead of feeling like I'm running on the spot?
