1. men can and will lie about respecting you if it means getting pussy
  2. most men cannot or will not respect a woman who they view as "easy". sad but true
  3. In practice Pickmes and especially young women will take even small scraps of attention from a man as a sign of respect. College girls, for example, have a warped and diluted view of what it means for a man to respect you. I personally have seen girls think that respect is "a man who speaks to you for 20 minutes first before you have sex" or "a man who acknowledges you publicly". it can be difficult for young girls especially to set boundaries and distinguish what is and isn't true respect because we are socialized to accept even the most meager and shoddy treatment
  4. There is nothing inherently good about sexual experience for sexual experience's sake. "liberation" in the form of promiscuity is beneficial for maybe 2% of women. Many women treat "liberation" as a way of dealing with trauma, and for most casual sex is unfulfilling physically and emotionally. most women start having sex before they know how to make themselves orgasm and what makes them orgasm, we're better off sexually experimenting alone. Being "inexperienced" at sex is treated as a bad thing, but a worthy partner will never make you feel as though you are a menu of sexual acts that loses value if you do not know how to perform them. sex is playful and fun; compatibility is over-stressed as what it really takes is a partner who prioritizes your pleasure, which can easily be deduced in a man's character through non sexual acts (is he thoughtful, etc.), as well as a base level of attraction between two people which again will be evident long before you have sex.
  5. we would be a lot better off if we looked to respectable, empowered older women to pass on their generational knowledge to us of how to avoid manipulative, evil men who will ruin your life

This cancerous glorification of the loosening of sexual mores needs to stop. "Old school" sexual boundaries and gender norms can be effective ways to protect women from getting abused by predatory, vile men. While waiting for marriage isn't for everyone, waiting for love is probably the minimum you should wait for before you sleep with someone. You'll be much safer and more satisfied if you wait for long term commitment and proved devotion before you have sex.
