Don't put men "knowing" on a pedestal. Who cares who he marries? Who cares who he thinks is "the one"? Is he a catch? Do you want to marry him?

One of the hardest desires to let go of is male validation/attention. It's not that we are romantically interested in this man, but that men respect women they like. Or momentarily pretend to. So we want his attention because he will validate that we're wanted. Thereby claiming that we aren't the stereotype: slu×, crazy, bitc×, etc.

Women know too. We always do. I knew my ex wasn't the one. But we've been conditioned to prefer a man's choice rather than our own. We ignore our intuition because in a world where no one respects women, it's seemingly advantageous to give in.
