I survived an extremely emotionally abusive grandmother and three abusive relationships. I accomplished graduating from high school, leaving an awful job, spending 9 months straight single, and minimizing contact with my abusive brother, despite having ADHD, PTSD and depression issues for over a decade and having a shaky-at-best sense of self-worth. If you think some overgrown little boy who couldn't put in any effort will bring me down, you got me fucked up.

I'm almost tearing up reading what I filled in. I've been feeling really lonely, unsteady, and scared with everything going on in the world right now. I've been tempted to seek out a relationship just to fill the void with something other than fear and dread. And I've been really pining over my most recent (extremely LV but maybe not quite NV) ex recently. Disclaimer: have not attempted to contact him even though it would be ridiculously easy to do so; have no actual desire to seek him out--just rose-tinted memories that this sub is wiping the tint off of.

I survived having untreated ADHD and graduated high school on time despite that. I survived being my grandmother's (lived with her) loathsome scapegoat to my brother being the godly golden child. I survived three different abusive relationships, at least one of which was with someone who was cluster B for sure. I survived almost a decade of suicidal ideation. I survived being a beaten down, mousy, apologetic, emotionally stunted young Pickmeisha at 17, and at 24, I'm finally learning my value.

Look at this newly minted queen go!
