I recommend for watching! It's based on true story of Laura Kucera who was shot in leg by her abusive boyfriend and left to die. She survived 4 days in ditch before police found her.
Pluses of movie:
1. Charters are normal and relatable, it's nothing campy of over the top. HVW -friend here
2. Time line - story of relationship is mixed with interview of people who where close or knew the protagonist.
3. Native American representation in modern times, living normal stable life.
4. Step by step showing how abuse in relationship happens, it's basically a red flag parade with clear messages
5. Overall interaction : it's shown how the girl may be naive and clueless and didn't assume the worst, how society and close people act when a woman in in abusive relationship, interviews make characters to reflect their actions and how right/moral/reasonable they where when acting in time and how they act and reflect in "real time" during the interview.
