Not to shit on anyone- you know him best, but frankly I tend to be suspicious of men who make an open show of aligning with feminist values rather than just being for them casually as a matter of assumed human decency that they take for granted and think everyone else should too.

It’s sad that acquaintance with fake woke men and fake male feminists has led me to have to be this cynical, but that’s where we are. Whenever a man claims to support feminism in any way I find slightly showy or performative or like it may be trying to score brownie points with me, rather than as just a natural, assumed course of human decency, I get suspicious
