I nearly got married to this man. We are both from (different) third world countries. He seemed a FDS wet dream at first. The relationship itself was really good…then I found out he was involved in political corruption. I broke things with him.

Of course there were red flags that I chose to ignore.

I felt like bringing this topic up because we talk a lot about problems in the relationship itself, but what about dealbreakers outside of the relationship?
