So I've been looking into archetype work as a form of therapy and it's very interesting! It's a great way to learn some of the archetypes within you that's causing chaos and need healing (for example I have the wounded child and the wounded healer archetype that needs healing. Pretty sure it came about from emotional neglect and having to be a people pleaser to avoid punishment growing up). This kind of work is actual favored by psychologist Carl Jung. He was a fan of tarot cards as well, I'd suggest those as a form of self reflection too! They full of archetypes to work with!

Here's some articles that speak on this and some archetypes to get started with :

The second form of self healing is mirror therapy! Ive been doing this for a while now not realizing it had a name. You probably don't have to do this as extreme as I did. But sometimes I would strip completely naked and stare in the mirror while listening to uplifting music. I don't always get completely nude but I do look in the mirror everyday (beyond looking I the mirror when washing up). I always smile at my self and tell myself I'll be okay. When I cry I go to a mirror and soothe myself. Whenever I do something that makes feel a sense of pride I'll immediately go to a mirror and just praise myself lmao

Last is a really common one, Journaling! I write all the time, how I feel, my goals, how my day went. It's a really nice way of figuring out what's bothering you and how to go about it! Dream Journaling is a really good one too. Sigmund Freud was huge on dreams, he believed our dreams represented repressed wishes and feelings. They're full of symbolism and it's a wonderful thing to decode!
