Ooof this is something I'm really working on. I always feel bad and cover with an apology, but this is so true!

We all have to work on it. In many situations it can be dangerous. People who make you feel bad about them crossing your boundaries are toxic. It's called false victimhood.
My male bosses have done it. My ex did it. My mother still does it. I haven't met one person who owns their mistakes. Yet, I always own mine.
So, with time you'll learn to apologize less.

And not just in a romantic context either.
We’ve gotta get real comfortable setting boundaries with our friends too!
Don’t be a doormat!

This is so important for women to learn. Men weren't taught to give a fuck, that's why they always complain about "well if she didn't like it why didn't she say it explicitly?"

This is so hard for me in every aspect of life. Was raised in a wonderful household that avoided conflict like the plague... so I have a tendency to do anything I can to make the other person feel better and skip through the discomfort even if it hurts me long term! Working on it!
