There have been a number of posts recently about "LVW" and whether they "deserve" a HVM, and I figured it was time to set the record straight.
There is a phenomenon in the dating world called assortive mating which is essentially a fancy way of saying that people tend to marry other people who are like them. We tend to marry people who's objective qualities are similar to our own: about as attractive, about as rich/poor, from a similar background, with a similar type of career.
The problem comes when we conflate subjective and objective qualities. Do not EVER allow a perceived limit of your objective value to affect your perception of your subjective value. Too many women feel that they have to meet certain objective standards (must be this pretty, this rich, this young, drive this kind of car) in order to "earn" subjectively acceptable behaviour (kindness, empathy, respect).
So, yes, if your question is "I am not a model nor am I rich, do I still deserve to date a rich model?" you're going to be in trouble, not because of what you deserve or don't deserve, but because rich models tend to date other rich models. However, inevitably the so-called low value women posting in this sub aren't asking that - they're asking:
"I am not a rich model, do I still deserve to date someone I'm attracted to who treats me with decency, kindness and respect?" <-- And the answer is YES! You do not need to be "objectively" perfect (like this even exists) to DESERVE to be treated well by someone you are attracted to. Do NOT let men get away with treating you as less-than just because you aren't getting all-As in the arbitrary game of society. It only benefits men if you allow yourself to be treated worse because you aren't 'enough'. Don't give them that power!
