The whole calling yourself a "witch" thing is hilarious. Witches do not exist, but it's a female power fantasy. The idea that there were once women so feared that the authorities burned them at the stake inspires fat/old/mean women to identify as them. The equivalent for men might be a scrawny, pimply nerd walking around with a helmet and shield and calling himself a Viking, and of course that guy would be mocked by everybody, but we're expected to take the whole "witch" thing seriously.

Yeah that sub is a place of ingorance.

They, read it somewhere, use the term witch to fight the patriarchy or some shit, years ago some men burned some women at some stake because of fear, stupidity and superstition.

And now they use it as a way if being like queer, taking back the word and the power of women and some other bullshit.

They ignore that the Salem witch trials started because a few young girls got pissed off and decided they would cause trouble but yeah let's use the parts of history we like.
