I just watched a thread get locked. You can see my replies to it. It was a thread created by a black trans woman. My issue, is the thread was locked because one of the mods looked at a comment and decided that it was painting an entire race as a certain way. The comment was clarifying the issue of white women and their white supremacy within feminism. They deleted the comment, because they felt that it painted all people of a race in the same light (even though the comment was directed at white women and their white supremacy within feminism... a very specific group of women, not all white women).

In a previous thread, I explained in a multitude of different ways that the "white-man-hating" stuff wasn't magically a product of black people, nor is it run by black people. It is run by feminist lobbyists and directed by feminism. It's the oldest trick in the book of "look at what this guy did, and ignore what our organizations are doing". My issue, is that his implication was a much better example of painting all black people with the same brush. But, it wasn't deleted. I just explained further until he got it. You didn't afford this black person that same patience or understanding. I often choose my words more carefully in this subreddit, as I know things can be misunderstood over text. But the fact that punishment isn't equally distributed and the inequality is racially charged, I felt the need to address it. If you are going to have rules, than I accept that and I admire the effort put into them. But, if you aren't going to punish each member, equally, then... honestly... that is a direct reflection of our society, and as a black man, I won't stand for it.

I am not a mod, I do not run this subreddit, and I assumed I am a guest here. But, based on the differences in the way opinions, views, and discussions are treated here, I now understand that this subreddit is no different than anywhere else for a black person. A sad state of affairs. Plenty watched me explain to a white OP, ad naseum, about how it isn't all black people nor are we the ones leading it. Nothing was said, no issue, no deleted comments from OP. But, one black person makes a comment, clarifying about a very specific group of people (white women, that are feminist, that are often guilty of egregious racism and white supremacy and misandry), and you have all of the issues in the world with it. It's disappointing, but, at my old age, not surprising.
