My ex/former MIL tried that nagging stuff for maybe a year. She hates smoking. So she's visiting and a guy at work gave me a cigar. I go into my home office, close the door to be polite, and smoke my cigar. Door opens. Theres my ex with her mom, hands on hips glaring at me. "What are you doing? You know my mom...."

"I'm smoking a god damned cigar in my damn house! If I want to shit in the middle of the living room, I'll do that too!"

Door closed quickly and the shit tests stopped... what started was fucking another guy.

Wonder if he has a AC/DC power inverter in his car to charge his laptop. Poor bloke. I went through very similar, but no MIL. The modern 21st century woman cannot take accountability for her own problems and inability to get off her ass and do the work she signed up to do.
