Humanity varies over such a large scale that I would not be surprised if we got along with ayys better than each other. To me, xeno sentient life visiting would be an interesting experience due to how fast it would act as a unifier for humanity; the amusement of how fast all of our petty squabbling would be dropped at the poasibility of an external threat would be rich indeed

Humans aren't very accepting. Look at history. Also places like Japan are still very Xenophobic toward other humans. Not even aliens humans lol.
We have a better chance of creating self aware AI in the next few years than being visited by "aliens". I just personally don't know how much longer God will let this stuff progress. Will be very interesting to see if he just let it progress until the point of societal unrest and collapse.
Granted there is no mention of Artificial intelligence in the bible so Christians will be most likely wanting to destroy it. Again I don't even know if we will get that far. Then again, I bet Moses would have never believed the concept of an iPhone that has access to unlimited information through invisible waves.

Time to upgrade the human.exe part of humanity it would seem. Despite a plunge into the alt right and its various bags of fun, I can still say that anyone that shares a similar goal, levels of interest in the universe that surrounds them and/or philosophical values will get along fine with me be it Ayy, robot or human.
Ironically the inclusion based on merit system leads me to being much more inclusive than our society's erstwhile parasites claim to be.
