Less money for the men means the men will go elsewhere for more money (European league). This is good for younger, unknown male players, they will get the opportunities that would be delayed.
Ultimately, however, less money each year will result in a diminishing of the Socceroos, at the cost of paying less capable female players (certainly less entertaining).
That is the point. People watching Football/Soccer come to be entertained. When it becomes political, most men walk away.

SRS Q: Do women play soccer on the same size ground as men?
In Aussie rules they play with a smaller ball (and i think a smaller ground), cricket is always a smaller ground, tennis is less sets.
If men earn more then match them for the basics of the game and also the revenue and advertising and then pay everyone equally IMO

What you think that just because they make 10% as much ad revenue in an easier training environment that they shouldn't get all the money? What a jerk

Time to start agitating for spectator equality, i.e. equal ticket prices.

What about the U18 boys that beat the Matilda's? How much are they getting paid.

An Under-15s boys club side beat the World Cup winning US womenβs side 5-2. LOL!

That's fine. Aussie soccer doesn't ring a bell internationally anyways, especially not when up until a few years ago they were thrashing the Fijis and Solomon Islands of this world in World Cup qualifiers. They want to not be taken seriously, go ahead.

They make less money because no oneβs interested in womenβs football and in turn generate less. They have no right to demand equal pay.

"in principle agreement"
when they start bringing in the same amount of sponsorship dollars and ad revenue then give them a pay rise
