Just recently, my son (4 y.o.) told me how he loves and misses me, but after I wanted to hug him he started crying as his mother is so against it. Hard to see such a conflict in a little kid’s mind. She basically destroys his psyche for fucking what?

Against my better judgement, I was friends with an ex. After breaking up with me, she proceeded immediately to getting pregnant with another guy's kid, and then breaking up with him, traveling to her home state to have the baby, and completely refusing to communicate with him. I haven't met this guy, but from what I heard, he was fully willing to co-parent and be in the life of the baby. They're in the middle of this convoluted legal mess rightnow.

This is what lead me to avoid relationships altogether. No way in hell I'll be dragged into that mess. If it's possible for single men to adopt, I will at some point. But I'm not dealing with women ever again.
