This. Sadly I bet a lot of those guys would want to get married, but 80% of men are invisible to 80% of women.
The real question is, when these women's hypergamy leaves them empty handed, will the guys they ignored have the dignity to say no to being these women's backup plan.
IMO it isn't even the 80/20 rule, it is the 95/5 rule.

Neither can I. Neither can 80% of men. But that ties into my point. Large swaths of women think they deserve the best men, but the best men either have no interest in them at all, or they only use them for sex w/o offering any kind of emotional or financial investment.
These women will pursue hypergamy until even they have to admit it doesn't work, then they will look for the BB.
Meanwhile men are dropping out in droves for the same reasons. Because the legal system is biased and because women's hypergamy means the kinds of women we can get aren't worth fighting for. That goes for pretty much all men, as most men are forced to date down (except the 5% of elite SMV men).

Don't hate on feminism, it's actually a great thing for men. A lot of people want us to go back to traditionalism, as if it changed women's biology or something. Guess what? She fucked the milkman in the 1950s when her beta bucks was at work all day too.

A woman can find a dick, but due to evolution a woman isn't happy unless a (relatively) high SMV man is willing to emotionally and financially commit to and invest in her. Men can be happy with just sexual access to the opposite gender, women cannot. Women need more than that.
Women today cannot find that. The small % of truly high SMV men can get sex w/o having to offer financial or emotional commitment or investment, and the rest of men are invisible to her.
Modern women have created their own misery and painted themselves into a corner. The only men modern women truly want have no incentive to offer these women what they truly want (investment and commitment, emotional and financial). Just enjoy the show. It is like someone with a high school diploma and no work experience who won't settle for a job that pays less than 80k a year.

But I don't know if there are enough men to clean up after these women. A lot of men are going MGTOW in between feeling left out by women's hypergamy and the misandrist legal system.
I'm sorry if you couldn't get the kind of relationship you want. Maybe you wanted a family and a good wife, but couldn't find one. That sucks, because the current marketplace disincentivizes women from commitment and from dating in their league. The modern market is filled with flaky women trying to date way out of their league in a legal system that rewards them for divorce. Finding a decent woman for a wife and mother is going to be extremely hard in that environment.

Wow. If this is true then this is stronger than what feminism can ever hope to be. A whole generation of non-reproducing adults will force the state to be fair and equitable so that it has tax payers in the future. I would not put this kind of thought out of the realm of possibilities. Never underestimate the stupidity of the manginas.
But this does not make sense in a fundamental way because the state now gets its future tax payers raised and educated for free. The parents do it for them. Why pay for something that you can get for free? You can already see that in some of the laws that are passed. For example, if a man is falsely saddled with a child support and if he is able to later prove that he is not the father then the state does not give back the money. There are so many such cases that the law is quite explicit about the money. I'm quite positive that smart people (women, state and certain kinds of men) will make the right decision when it comes to money.

So much wrong with your premisis, but at least you are thinking. The state is simply a conduit by which resources are taken from one group and given to another. Everything is free for the state. Wealthy people use the state to manipulate the behavior of the poor. The wealthy need more babies to run the machines and buy the products produced by the machines. If 100 percent of welfare is spent on rent, coca cola, mcdonald, proctor and gamble, walmart and exxon, do the owners of these corporations really care that their workers are being taxed to subsidize their customers? The entire economy is a scam, and the scam is not going to end because a few dudes stop fucking bitches. Life will find a way.

the US has long gotten rid of common law marriage. there's only a few states which have any form of it, and even then, you have to live together for 10+ years, and both have to publicly and regularly hold the couple out as being married (e.g. referring to her as "your wife"). there's no accidental common law marriage in the US anymore.
