I made plenty of money for my single life, retired young, my mouth gets sore from smiling all day, and don’t have the stench of worshipping pussy all over me.

But that’s me. I do shit that makes me happy, not provide from some hog-beast.

I don’t need a cool car to impress women, I have a dope van to live in down by the river.

My life is great. Why anyone pursues life for some thot I have no idea.

Socrates wrote frequently on the merits of physical training. Even back then, he and others realized the physiological and psychological impact physical training has on a person. The journey of setting a goal for yourself, working towards that goal, and ultimately achieving that goal and moving on to a new challenge is an amazing and fulfilling experience. And it is a journey, not a destination, because your training is never complete. Not everybody will have 6 pack abs or 22 inch biceps or run a 4 minute mile, but striving to be the best version of yourself carries over to other aspects of your life. You learn about discipline and consistency and forcing yourself to get just that 0.01% better every single day when you physically train. Next thing you know, you find a new hobby you want to learn everything about or a new field of study and you apply that same desire from training to expanding your mind. No growth without struggle, and you should always be struggling to better yourself for no other reason than it feels good to slowly be better and look back on how far you've come and forward to how far you still have to go.

Tl:dr the motivation is for no reason other than it makes you feel like a better person.
