You have to remember the 4th wave feminists graduated and got jobs shortly before and after the 2008 collapse. Some of them are now in lead roles. Especially in marketing and social stuff. Propaganda and pandering was always a thing. Especially how men are portrayed in popular media. It is as you said, blatant.
Organizations "get woke" to politically correct actions, those same actions usually result in a massive loss of income.
Imagine an SJW, but in company form instead of human. SJW are not even subtle or polite about hating men or being politically correct as you know. Now imagine the messages from an SJW as a company. How will their customers react? Keep in mind these are people a company should pander to. Think of the Gillette fiasco, BFV, etc. Additionally, their product quality may take a hit.
