So yesterday, I went to the mall to buy my lovely mother a Valentines Day gift. I’m currently working a part-time job while in high school and am not really saving for anything so I thought I’d spend some money on my hardworking mom, a physician, rather than on some ungrateful (thankfully nonexistent) woman.

Nevertheless, I purchased a few small items from the Jimmy Choo store and made my way out. As I was exiting the store, I saw an ice cream shop and couldn’t resist. I walked over to the shop and stood in line when three college chicks pulled up behind me. I glanced over my shoulder for a second and could tell by their uniforms that they were on a women’s lax team. I resumed waiting in line when I faintly heard from behind me, “Oh my God!! Jimmy Choo!! Why won’t anyone buy me that??” To myself, I instinctively said, “Why because you’re likely washed up sis.” Her non discreet exclamation grabbed the attention of her companions and the one closest to me said, “Oh my God!! Excuse me sir, what did you buy?” all the while glancing back and forth from the bag to me. I smiled, told her what I bought and calmly said, “Stay in school and you can afford it too one day.” Almost instantaneously a bitch face came upon all three of them and I placed my order, got my treat, and left.

What I realized from all this is that women care more so about wealth and status in a man than any other quality. They wouldn’t have looked at me twice if I weren’t holding that shopping bag. Regardless, I had already gone my own way and this experience further solidified my decision.

Thank God I found this sub at 17

TL;DR Went to the mall, bought something pricey for my mom for Valentines, college chicks try to talk to me bc they say the bag, high-key roasted them.
