I've been lurking for a few days after having seen "MGTOW" plastered all over the comment section of some news article I read and think I've found my tribe so-to-speak. I've been borderline MGTOW for years now and not even known it. This is my first post on Reddit and I'm not sure how active I will be, but I wanted to put forward a concept that I think is new and which I think might be kind of important as far as helping everyone truly GTOW and perhaps have more fruitful conversations moving forward.

You see, in the last couple of days I've seen quite a few posts that show bitterness, hatred, what have you, towards women and I see that as being counterproductive in many ways. On one hand, it reinforces some of the negative press "out there" about MGTOW. On the other, more importantly, in my opinion, is that any man who thinks they are GTOW and simultaneously entertaining negative emotions with regards women, that man is NOT GTOW. In fact, their strings are still being pulled by someone/something else (i.e. women).

Full disclosure, I am totally oblivious to the history of this MGTOW, much of social media, contemporary society, and more. I more or less live under a rock. Still, I think the introduction of a new term/concept might be helpful. The above men, the puppets if you will, I submit are not "red pill", they are "gel cap". I mean no offense to anyone. My intention is for this to be constructive. I mean, I thought it important enough that I set up my first ever Reddit account, joining my only sub, and took the time to post. A new category, whether Gel Cap or something else, would go a long ways towards helping some guys out, keeping others honest, and removing some of the ambiguity from these threads, I think.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to thank this forum for helping reinforce some of my own ideas, giving words to thoughts that weren't previously all that clear, and sheer entertainment. GYOW
