Another MGTOW victory

I matched with a guy on Tinder who was married for 12 years, now divorced, and has 2 kids, both under 10. We talked the entire first day and had lots in common. He told me exactly where he works and that he lives in the same area. I gave him an idea of what I do professionally but I never disclose all details until after I get to know the person better. Anyways...he asked about meeting up for food on our lunch breaks and I declined due to the fact I cant leave for lunch. Then we decided that since I was off yesterday and he didn’t go in until 2p we’d do lunch at noon. We picked a place, we talked that morning and I texted him that I was on my way there. I didn’t get a response but I figured he was driving. I got to the restaurant, got a booth and the waitress brought 2 waters. Still no text/call...I went ahead and ordered (because I was hungry lol) and called my bff to let her know I think I was just stood up...I ended up eating my meal with 2 glasses of wine and to my surprise the waitress brought me a warm cookie with ice cream (for free!) and told me not to worry and that it was just not meant to be. She was very sweet :-) so what originally made me pretty down and out ended up being a pretty great lunch 😊 If someone stands you up, go ahead and order your food anyway and enjoy yourself!
