I'm Indian but don't live in India. Never been married don't plan to. Don't really know much about arranged marriages, a few of my family members have been forced into it. Tbh I think the most effective way of getting out of it is to move away and cut off all contact with your parents if they keep on insisting you get married. I know India is traditional, but if you can't fight against arranged marriages in the 21st century, when can you fight against it right?

I'm Asian, Chinese to be specific. It's weird that Chinese parents harshly ban dating until about 20 and then all of suddenly everyone wants you to get married ASAP.

Half English, half sri lankan here. Both parents have advised I don't get married. Mum gets scared I'm going to fuck myself over dating another psycho. They both prefer me single as I get my my shit together when I have no one. Luckily for them I've learnt my lesson and will never date again.

Indian. 33. Married twice arranged and going through separation in second one.

First marriage the girl had some hormone problem and her family pressurising and blaming. Pressurised for divorce and money. Me and my parents thought "oh it's just one bad apple and settled"

Second time a divorced , good earning girl. Stayed for 6 months and got pregnant. Since then forced me to move near her parents house. After my son born I moved. 3 months later she puts fake harassment and dowry complaint. I decide to fight it and not leave my son. For 7 months counseling sessions and she kept asking money and leave my son forever. I didn't budge and gave her nothing until she agrees for visitation. Finally tired she didn't file the case and its 2 months sitting silent.

It took me two marriages to go MGTOW. Now I lift, enjoy vacations and saving good money and investing.

During all these 7 months I got quite good support from authorities. Which was strange to me first. Then girls here have abused dowry law so much that no body bothers and take it seriously until there is serious injury to girl.

So fellow Indians if you are going through fake cases don't budge and be confident. People and authorities will support you whatever they can. That's the beauty of slow Indian judiciary.

My best friend who I have known for 15 years more or less is MGTOW without knowing it.

Hes asian and hasn't even really so much as dated. Right now he's way too busy racing the cars hes got. Currently finding cars he can fix up and goes to Rally them.

Way too busy to have any time for a women as he's trying to build up a racing career/profile. Never cared about women and doesnt seem like he ever will.

Was harassed a lot for marriage. But now I play it cool with sarcasm.

The thing is, you have to have "I don't give a fu*k" vibe, else people won't let you live in peace.
