I know its pointless to come here and go against the grain but marriage aside... Why do you list all those things as if that defines every relationship?
I live in Finland so here me out.. most women here seem about real equality (My girlfriend freaked out when I offered to pay for our drinks on our second date), and most relationships I know seem to have an equal about of give and take.
So are the guys here just jaded from bad experiences? Obviously noone in a good relationship would go MGTOW so it stands to reason only men who got fucked over (and I honestly sympathize with that) would be here. My SO is my best friend. We joke around, play video games (she loves Nintendo and I'm a PC guy) and travel together. We get involved in each other's hobbies and friend circles, hell I convinced her to come to QuakeCon (giant LAN party) with all my bros and it was great. Never once has my SO prevented me from hanging out with someone, which seems to be a popular talking point in here. Your SO should never make you feel "less free". In fact they should help you expand your horizons.
General companionship is the biggest benefit. I can come home from a stressful day at work and she'll listen to me rant about whatever dumb shit happened that day. She has helped me out financially when shit hits the fan. She helps keep the house clean and prevents me from me a total slob. Life is hard enough, going through it alone just makes it even more difficult.
We've been together for a few years now and of course, we've had arguments. We do things that drive each other crazy. We're not perfect, nobody is. But, our friendship is strong enough that we can work through those flaws and help make each other better.
This subreddit, and others like it, make me sad. I found this from /r/all and wasn't sure what was up. If one wants to live their life on their own, that's completely fine with me. There's no reason you can't have a fulfilling life on your own. However, The amount of women hate and pure vitriol in here is upsetting. I understand putting yourself out there to find a companion isn't easy. Heartbreak is even worse, I've been through it plenty. However, it helped me understand my own flaws and I'm better for it.
The perception of women in this subreddit seems to be based on popular sitcoms or something. Women aren't all the same. They're incredibly complex human beings just like you and me. I don't see how they can be pigeonholed into the stereotypes that are perpetuated in this subreddit. Not every woman is a greedy, manipulating bitch who only cares about money, just like not every dude is a Chad.

The freedom I’m keeping is WAY worth the small lifespan difference. I wouldn’t want to be miserable just so I can add on 2 more years at the nursing home. I think a lot of my and possibly others main concern lies within the #metoo movement and some female entitlement. Times are a little different with this increasing war between the sexes, and a lot of stories about women trapping and false rape claiming is for sure frightening.
