Okay, I'm tired of this "average woman" or "embrace obesity" or "body positive" bullshit. If you are an obese female, discipline yourself and lose weight, holy shit, this is not hard people! I get if it's a medical condition, that's different. Of course they are going to photoshop it! It's a business, you're supposed to put your best foot forward, who in their right minds would spend their hard earned money on something that doesn't look "attractive", I wouldn't. The fact that these women volunteer to model and then complain about photoshopping is absolutely ridiculous. Do you think the Greek or Roman models complained when the sculpture got something wrong? No, they were honored. What business would post pictures of fat slobby people to model something they have put thousands of dollars into? It's a waste. Think Economics here people. I never understood that complaint.

The photoshopping of pics is just an additional level to their already false faces, by way of makeup. The lies run deep, they will take any way they can cover up the truth. You can't even trust that that's their face, how can you trust them on anything else?

the problem with body descriptors for women is that they usually use slim/skinny/slender/thin for the low end, curvy/full-figured for morbidly obese, and something like 80% of american women are now overweight or obese. "average" is not an objective descriptor in that it changes over time as the group gets fatter. today, a woman who is "average" is fat.

It's not too far off. If you look at the 0-10 scale you'd think an average woman is a 5. But the case is that unless you have avoided media indoctrination no woman above an 8 exists. It takes serious makeup skills and photo editing to get a real 9 or 10.

If you met a 9 or 10 in the real world with no makeup and in a regular shirt and jeans she would be a 7 or 8 at best.

Those women are about 3-5. That is fair to call average.
