In the wake of the #metoo nonsense on facebook, one of my brave "friends" tells a long tale of the sexism in her industry (academia). She freely admits that being flirty and sexual helped her career back in the day. She even hints at that she enjoyed this back then, but now sees herself as having been young, naive and exploited all around. Now that she looks back from the wisdom of her mid-thirties she realizes that she had been the victim there, deserves sympathy, compensation. She also expects us men to drain the swamp, and fire a few (so far unnamed) harassers, so that such awful things as flirtatious conversations will never ever happen again in the corridors of universities.

Needless to say she is showered in likes and sympathy from the unenlightened. I, on the other hand, giggle at a woman who lost her strongest weapon, and demands that no other woman should be allowed to continue using theirs.
