It took Neo months after he was removed from the matrix before he could even stand by himself. It will take you months too, and will be a terrible struggle. Keep in mind that you are now free, free of the Matrix. And as Neo became "The One", so can you. Don't give up, all future troubles are temporary and surmountable.
Find and read some of the success stories. It can be done. Good luck brother.

If you are in the US, go to HUD and sign up. Tell them you are homeless and that puts you at the front of the line. Also, find a homeless shelter and if you need clothes etc... Salvation Army and St. Vincent De Paul will be able to help you out.

I was somewhat in the same boat 2 years ago (homeless with virtually nothing). Focus on survival and increasing your own personal power - get out of a bad situation.

I lost a lot of pride when survival was on the line. I don't recommend homeless shelters for longer than a night - I lived in an airport and made it look like I was on a layover and avoided sleeping in the same place twice (since a cop, who happened to be female, kicked me awake one night and said she recognized me from the previous night).

Do whatever it takes, and remember that people are like animals - if you show unrelenting dominance they will yield if they think you're better than them - so appear better than them (otherwise be prepared to get kicked around more). I faked it until I made it back on my feet and took any advantage I could get (I was not above getting food stamps. And even though I can say with firsthand experience that the welfare state is a backward cluster-fuck that ruins people and makes shit more expensive - there's no sense in letting yourself be twice robbed [if you have ever, or will ever, paid/pay into the system] you might as well get a return on your investment.)

Do what you need to do. And force yourself to sleep, eat, drink water, exercise, and stay clean: Without sleep you're basically a zombie and useless in fighting your poverty; without food and water you're weak and if you get past the tipping point there's no coming back; exercise helps prevent things like hypothermia, hemorrhoids, getting beaten up, etc.; stay clean because ringworm when you can't even afford the 98 cent athlete's foot cream at walmart takes forever to go away and the scars become permanent - plus if you smell bad no one will hire your except as a person doing a really dirty job. And your teeth don't grow back - I met one homeless guy that had a sweet tooth, he never brushed his teeth and now he never can. He said it was painful as hell until one day it just went numb (but he still can't chew most things).

Never show weakness in a job interview. Everything is something you can solve or is no big deal, "Do I have reliable transportation? It's just logistics - I can make it to work - the important thing is that I can make you money (or do x, y, and z)."

And now that you're near rock bottom - remember that women didn't do shit except make things worse.

There are a lot of life lessons you'll learn that no one else gets to have. Remember those on the other side of the shit-storm. If you display true survivability, and grit, and skill - you'll end up better than most people.

Hell, people around me struggle with purpose and minor hardships. Meanwhile everything is easy for me and unbearable cold for most people is like a mild breeze to me. Or it's like I can eat lava and they have a hard time with a warm cup of tea. Life is too easy sometimes.

The real danger of prolonged homelessness and solitude is that it becomes very comfortable. I still don't like being around most people. I'd rather be alone. I look at all the money that I just pile up and do nothing with and I want to go back to living in an airport, warehouse, tent, subway, etc.

Women will never understand your experience, and you shouldn't want understanding - it's vastly overrated. I look at most people and am glad to be misunderstood by them; I'd be ashamed if those ass-clowns knew what made me tick.

The thing I miss most about being poor, homeless, and unemployed: all the free time to read books and learn.

I was you - I was homeless too seven years ago. I got it all back and then some. It can be done. If I made it, so can you.

Sorry to hear about your recent misfortunes, t)Try to keep those negative thoughts in check. I've never been really homeless but you should check out some social services and use a library for free internet, books, and also they probably offer some employment resources(assuming you lost your job).
