My mother is my father’s caretaker. She has to do an insane amount of shit for him, shit that is very demeaning. She does it without question, even though we all see the stress taking its toll on her. When I think of true love, I think of that, not that textbook fairytale bullshit. If you are going to be going through your senior years alone, look into getting a Long Term Care policy—they’re very cheap if you are young.

I can relate to the third on the list cause I did once felt I loved someone and I was my undoing. I understand I’m weirdly bitter after a long time since my happening, but in my mind women don’t feel “love” (whatever that means) do way we men do. Maybe this is me hating on wehmen, or some sort of confirmation bias (idgaf), but that’s how I feel at the moment
