I was looking at getting into teaching. There are good incentives in the UK to try and get more male teachers as 75% of classroom teachers are female but then I read about the male teacher who spent years fighting a false sexual abuse lawsuit because he gave a retarded entitled girl a shitty grade because she truly deserved it.

A few generations of men have already been destroyed/disenfranchised due to the education system. I'd like to think that in the future this will change, but I doubt it. How could it with the ratio of male to female teachers? And of course, men are hesitant to become teachers because of accusations of student rape. Ironically, women do that plenty enough anyway.

I miss the days when there are gender segregated public schools. I think we should bring it back to give parents an option. I am not talking about which ways are better, just providing more options thats all.

Support male teachers. While in service and after, these guys are under constant suspicion of being sexual abusers and constant criticism of their teaching methods. Males are often the only adults in the building making use of scientific research and driving student achievement results, yet they are the most likely to be sacrificed the moment an entitled mother comes in to complain her entitled brat isn't getting the validation they crave for sitting on their asses all day, asking if it will be on the test. Now that women have more career choices, schools need young men to serve in classrooms...

but that does not mean men have any voice in education. We need fathers and sons in the building complaining just as loud as the mothers and daughters!

I used to teach middle school. I saw first hand how feminized the environment had become. I taught math and was required by district standards to give students points for writing answers in complete sentences with correct capitalization, etc. I recall one particular question where one girl wrote 4 complete sentences, a virtual paragraph, and got nowhere near an actual answer. I had a boy answer the same question using two sentences with a total of 4 words between them. His answer was perfect: accurate and concise. By the district standards, I was supposed to give her 3/5 for her answer and the boy 4/5.

I gave her 0. I gave him 5. I no longer work in that district.

I think giving the girl 3/5 does her a great disservice because it hides (from HER!) the fact that she can't do the math.

I hate that schools treat boys like defective girls and punish them and medicate them until they act more proper, i.e. girly. It's very well known that the current system favors girls and punishes boys, but nobody really gives a fuck outside of a few powerless circles because it's boys suffering. This reminds me of a story of a former coworker. You see, I am a third grade teacher.

So, I made the point that a certain male students were wrestling and I didn't punish them. I cited the fact they were boys and there was no malintent and that boys are different.

The new SJW feminist teacher was like I don't agree with that.

Of course i just deescalate. However, you can see all the veteran teachers just shaking their head at her ignorance.

Education needs male teachers particularly at the elementary level. Many of these boys will grow up in a female dominated environment and never see a male teacher until at least middle school.
