Try Chromium; it's the browser upon which Chrome was developed. You really can't tell a difference -- that is, if you want something like Chrome. If you want something different and new, try Brave browser. It has both a desktop and mobile version along with built-in ad blocking, and I use the mobile version daily.

It took a little getting used to, but I've come to love DuckDuckGo as a search engine.

Proton Mail is supposed to be good, though it's a little limited compared to Gmail.

I wouldn't worry about replacing YouTube, honestly; they're operating it at a loss, so cutting that out won't exactly be putting them in the red since it's already there. I'm not sure about alternatives though, since I don't often use video services.

Boycotting doesn't work. ALL companies in this world toe the line when it comes to PC, multiculturalism, feminism. Of course, it's just a way for them to make money, but that's the way the world is.

America is "leftist capitalism" That's basically our system. In the end you'll end up with nothing to buy or use.

I don't like M$, for lots of reasons, so I don't use Bing. DuckDuckGo.com does not track or log your searches, so that's good, but their search algorithm isn't as good as google.

Firefox is pretty stable, but it hogs a lot of memory.

Recently trying Duckduckgo for searches and so far so good. Might not be as good if you also search another language in another country but for English it's really nice.

I need some input on surfing as well I'm currently only using Opera which is based on Chrome as well.

Email I just use my company email. I tried tutanota but haven't used it much since most of my emails go to my company email anyways. Any experience or other alternatives?

The toughest one I think is video platform. Youtube is just so big and popular. I like the interface of vid.me but just not enough contents and comments over there. Minds.com is more like twitter and I don't use twitter so i don't give a fuck.

I remember I tried DuckDuckGo a year ago on my phone, didn't like it, but this really inspires me to boycott Google and all of its crap. I'm going to give it another try. As far as browsers, I've always used Firefox, try it.

This has tipped me over the edget to make a decision to scrap my android phone and get an iphone. I admit I was just balancing on that edge anway, but this is what tipped me over that edge.

Thank you for helping me make that decision Google (note: who's motto was "don't be evil" yet now they are sort of acting in an evil way).

Boycotting should be done correctly.

The way I see it every search you do costs Google money. Every Youtube video you stream, someone has to pay that bandwidth.

Same shit with Chrome or Gmail or Maps - By using it, you're only costing Google money.

How you can really boycott them:

Always use an adblocker.
NEVER click on a Google ad. You can immediately tell what an Adsense advert looks like. Don't click them.
Don't click any sponsored links when searching. Instead, type in the company name directly or open up a new tab and manually type in the URL. You can also scroll down, typically the same sponsored link will appear a few links below but it will be free. In other words, Google won't get a dime until you click it.
NEVER buy anything from the Google play Appstore. If you really want the app, contact the developer and make a Paypal payment in exchange for the APK.
Never use Google play music or video services.
Don't go premium on Gmail or any of their other services.

I'm old school. I've used Internet Explorer and now Edge. I only visit here, some gaming sites, Amazon and Newegg and I have Comcast email. Now a days only site I browse too is here anyway so gg

I started a post specifically for a Boycott list. I will eventually make it a website. We need to track all the corporations that are anti-male. Put our money where our mouth is.

I doubt the 30,000 of us will have much of an impact but the plan is to sell this as a "BOYCOTT SEXISM" campaign eventually. Feminazi's being largely uninformed will boycott the same businesses that purport to be feminist as long as I portray them as Sexist and Patriarchal.

I've been advertising with Google for over a decade. The cost per click for me has gone up from $0.10 to over $2. Google say everything is determined by the market, but really all my competitors don't advertise on Google adwords at all. I used to look at the JoelOnSoftware forum and other software publishers agreed with me, namely the cost of Google advert clicks are high despite any evidence of marketplace competition.

The trouble is that Google is an effective monopoly in Internet search, and as such Internet advertising. Bing isn't anywhere near as popular yet. As a comparison on Bing my advert clicks are still under $0.20. And compare that to $2 on Google.

I've done a comparision between Google adverts and Bing adverts for my business. For some reason I was getting 5 - 10 times more conversions with Bing advert clicks that Google.

Google really is too much of a monopoly. They suck businesses dry of money. Like for many other small software developers, Google advertising is almost a negative cost now. You need to spend $20 of advertising to get say $10 worth of profit, if you are lucky.

Google is not healthy for all other business operating on the Internet.

I've contacted Google many times about their absurdly high costs of advertising and told them they would get more revenue if their costs were reasonable, but it all falls on deaf ears. They are a giant money sucking operation.

sell your damn google stock. look at your ETFs and if they have google in them, sell them.

this isn't even some MRA argument. it's strictly financial. just look at the SHE gender diversity fund... it's an ETF that invests in S&P500 with slight modifications used to highlight companies with more women on the boards... and it's getting crushed by S&P500. companies that put progressivism above finances, engineering, facts, and reality are objectively worse than those who are not.

Most sites you go to, weather you use GOOGLE or not, are using GOOGLE servers in one way or another.
