Well the retort is that they're in the friend zone ostensibly because they're being nice and "nice" isn't even a sincere emotion. So then he logical following is that sincere kindness is absent from the people in the friend zone so the expectation is obligatory kindness which is unearned.. which is totally fine. However sincere kindness would have to derive from sincerity, and the conditions precluding sincere kindness are absent due to said woman's behavior. So when a woman expresses dissatisfaction with the absence of kindness in men, I would want to know what she is or isn't doing to instigate the opposite of sincere kindness towards her.

I find it hilarious that women believe they have the power to put men in and out of friend zones. I have a female friend that got desperate so she and her friends did some mental gymnastics convincing themselves that I was the one for her.
