All of this talk about height and fighting. None of it has anything to do with anything.

I'm 6'2'' and my shorter, wider, more muscular friends have been ruffing me up for years. Why? Because I have to let them.

The few times I've actually lost my temper or got serious, I put the fear of god in their eyes. Even shit faced with liquid courage you see that change in their eyes. From "I bench so much I'm the baddest motherfucker here" to "please don't hurt me, I meant nothing by it". That same fear someone gets when they're accosted by a wild fucking animal. They root themselves right where they're standing and their eyes just freeze and their skin turns white.

It has nothing to do with size or lack there of.

It has nothing to do with height. Granted some men who feel small will overcompensate and bully their whole lives.

But imagine being the friendly giant your whole life. You're naturally bigger and stronger than everyone around you. 7/10 men will fuck with you relentlessly to "put you in your place" or make you feel lesser than them.

You have to let them. You have to put your head down and take the abuse, always.

A chihuahua will constantly snarl and nip the legs or face of a pit bull. The pit bull will never do anything except give it some space.

A German Shepard or a lab or a big ass dog will constantly move in on the pit bull and show dominance the pit bull will let him have it's day.

The pitbull knows he'll get his turn in line.

The pitbull knows no matter how hard the other dogs can bite, the pit bull can bite harder. And if he does, he's always the one put to sleep.

A real fighter knows this. No matter how much someone fucks with him, he does not retaliate until it's real defense. Because if he does, he's going to jail for ruining a weaker man's life.

All this talk about the toughest guys being the smaller ones.

Why then does the UFC have weight classes?

Then again look at Sakuraba. 185lbs of pure Chimpanzee killing machine; took on dudes 20 lbs bigger for years.
