No I don't think it can be saved. One of the reasons being is that the dumbest people are procreating.

But also environmental, political and financial. .there's just a perfect storm of societal collapse coming.

Make sure you're one of the smart guys who has his shit together and not one of the idiots who obliviously parties while the whole thing falls, like the scene in Eric the Viking where the dumb idiots on the sinking island just denied the whole thing and sat on the sinking island singing songs.

Societies tend to decline gradually, then collapse, and then something new emerges later. Think about how many times China has collapsed an then re-built itself into an empire. Thomas Cole has an interesting series of paintings called The Course of the Empire.

All things change that’s reality, learn a bit of history and you will see life goes in cycles. We are currently at the end of one such cycle I currently believe we are on a par with the early 1930s. The economy is being artificially kept afloat with cheap money which has distorted the price of assets. The politicians using accepted methods are not having results, consequently we have an influx of charismatic leaders coming in telling us they have the solution. This has happened before and it always ends badly.
