the travesty is that this isn't even real. this post was a promote advert. this advertisement requires the writing staff to be so self aware with the world around them in an such an objective manner in order to elicit a response from the audience for new engagement. in other words, people knowingly are taking advantage of this social dynamic and are encouraging it

As a child, I'd cry if their were toppings on a pizza I didn't like. I'd plead and complain. As I grew, the complaining stopped, I'd cope, and ultimately accepted it. As an adult, I value myself, and I make my own damn pizza with whatever toppings I want and now people ask me to make the pizza from now on. This subreddit is a good resource to share and grow. It may not be warm and fuzzy.. but so is a Koala bear and those things are nasty.

Even when I said to myself how crazy those terms back then like "monk mode" and men going their own way - with a twisted face I'd say, "how extreme!" while at the same time coveting a relationship that only existed in my imagination - It was a hard hike, but take my pack off and sit down, glad knowing I can freely choose my path on my terms.

I want to like CRP's content, but it contains too much blue for me. This topic is a good example. I agree with purpose in life BUT THAT does not fullfill loneliness. Purpose fulfills hopelessness. Loneliness is feeling something about your perception of loss and/or social isolation. So, good news everyone, you can change your attitude/perception on things. Work towards not feeling like you lost something. Accept people come in and out of lives. Live a good life for yourself. If people want to he…

It's not so much "becoming westernized", but having the "grass is greener" mentality, and any loyalty goes out the door. lets reverse that... any notion of loyalty becomes instantly vaporized as you become her meal ticket, and the IRS will love the prospect of you taking on all her debt, forcing you in to bankruptcy(worst case scenario). We can advise you to go your own way, but sometimes you need to go down the beaten path first and learn the hard lessons first to appreciate your own way.

I know there is no central campaign or leader, but that is why we are also not an organization. Collectively, we observe a certain faith and, individually, we value shared norms that can still be classified as a movement. When I speak about MGTOW in academia, I make it clear that we are not a formal club or organization, but collectively are bound by a "faith" or common core of beliefs.
/r/MGTOW07/11/19 07:54 PM

It doesn't stop there. I see it becoming a growing topic of research in academia - however biased it may sound. I see it all as a good thing as this movement(or whatever you want to call it) has been growing larger as of late.

this is the perfect example showing the difference between men and women - our idea of loyalty is vastly different. For us, loyalty revolves around principles - intrinsic laws or beliefs to form conditions For women, it's transactional. Conditions must be met to receive "loyalty".

Reinvest in yourself. treat yourself to stuff. get distracted. work hard, play hard. what I find out as I get older is we tend to project. it's easy for us to forget there are whole people like ourselves with their own motivations and desires. don't sacrifice yourself any longer.

It's going to be harder the younger you are. Just try to remember that your biological urges are going to send you in a different direction. Develop a routine and discipline. Those habits will help you during tough times. The more you invest in yourself, the more motivation you will have! Start that exercise routine you've been meaning to do. Refine that hobby or start something you have a passion for. The things you do now sow the seeds for your future. Your. Future. You have time and freedom r…

A good progression would have been: John Conner and Kate Brewster fight off another T-800 leaving John severely injured. Kate discovers she will give birth to the future leader of the resistance. This time, there is no help sent back for our heroes, yet a new terminator unlike any other is sent to squash this new discovery of the timeline. Seemingly human and very organic(like Grace but chillingly cold) Kate Brewster is our heroine with the help of Sarah Conner. We see Kate grow in to her new ro…

invest in yourself in every way. health, education, skills, finance, etc.. you are young so you can take chances, but don't commit to something that will weigh on your future unless you are committed to take ownership in that decision- that future. you want to figure out what you want to do initially as a career may evolve over the years in to something you may not expect.

this is temporary you are far more capable than you perceive yourself to be you are learning that now that, in life, you're going to have moments where you perceive an absence of some kind, but, in reality, it is a call to action for only yourself. you will be asked by no one but yourself, to take care of yourself and make the most of the situation. moments like this pass. it is how you finish. be good to yourself and those you care about.

She was never yours. You probably projected your standards and ideas of "love" on to her, and expected the same in return. In reality, we can never expect that. You both are young. Her value in society is very high at the moment so she has tons and tons of options. Women see these things in a transaction manner, so she will trade up until her value has plateaued. YOU, on the other hand, your value is relatively low at the moment. As you grow older, and gain experience, skills and what-not, your …

I was told this once during my marriage. unbeknownst to me at the time, the married guy who said this to me was having an affair with my ex-wife. what you see with your own eyes is just a sea of complacency fueled by hormones and compromises. stand on your own two feet, gentleman.

I am finally old enough to see a trend. I've been married, raised kids, divorced. dated before and after. I'm young enough to make up for lost time and lucky enough to not go through the meat grinder during the divorce. In the natural order of things, when you date/get married, it will never get any better than the day you two met - compared to when you are single and can focus like a laser beam on yourself. After the divorce and giving dating one last try, I was done.

"you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born in to bondage. Born in to a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch" You are addicted to the hormones, the biological urge to procreate. Hello person that wants more thoughts. Relationships are transactional. There is a price for everything. Society dictates the trends of the "goods and services" within a relationship, and societal trends are not static, but evolve. The increased use of social media further accelerates the terms and conditions within relationships by augmenting our ability to share and emulate.
/r/MGTOW02/08/19 02:20 PM

I'm assuming your a woman. Men are seen as a resource, generally, and men tend to give- often sacrificing themselves for the relationship. It's transnational at every level. So, as men, we measure the given risk and find that preserving ourselves is advantageous over making a gamble with another relationship.

Hello same person that always posts here with a new account. I appreciate the criticism, but your observation is merely a shallow reflection of this subreddit. I find MGTOW interesting seeing as I share a similar set of views regarding societal double-standards, cost-benefit relationships, the breakdown between the sexes and their corresponding cultural values. First- you are good enough. What she decides to do has no bearing on you or your worth. She sees an opportunity to play. Her primary resource provider(YOU) will be unavailable, and she will seek resources elsewhere. Armed with this, you must respect yourself, and break things off immediately. She is sponging off you, and you must ask yourself if you are okay with the lack of loyalty from her.

The gps and keylogging fuels your ego and it reinforces that behavior. You have that gut feeling, and her behavior is all that is needed. That gut feeling AND her behavior wouldn't exist if things were "fine and dandy", so something has changed. It's a waste and a strain to go to those lengths. In my experience, if you already suspect and there is behavior to indicate she is already monkey-branching, it is happening or about to happen. This first and foremost. Regain some authority in life and allow yourself to enjoy something. Exercise is a great way to help your body relieve stress- the aftereffect is your body dealing with cortisol and inflammation and help balance your mood. Hiking, jogging.. just wearing yourself out on the regular will help and may develop a healthy habit. I promise if you commit to a simple regimen(like Couch to 5k), you will improve your outlook signifigantly.

If you don't already do, buy a calendar and keep track of your sets. Don't have to document everything, but track a workout so that you can watch yourself progress. I've been through some stuff, and I'll impart some stuff I learned that maybe you can use. u/DangZagnut is right. Loneliness is about the perception of loss. Your expectation for some social need is not met or fulfilled so you feel lonely. The thing is, the mind is a powerful tool, and you can relearn/or reframe your perception of the world around you. Some of it has to do with acceptance of your situation. Social interaction can come from suprising simple and passive things and can even augment…

np. I was once a rageaholic, and I guess age helps things out too. I still play some battleroyal and it is a wonderful example of life. sometimes you win and it is grrrreeaaat - but a lot of times you lose. You haven't learned that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. You only accept the win, but fail to accept the loss. It's just like life. After my divorce, it kind clicked, like, losing stuff is part of life. obviously, sometimes your aim is to "win, win, win" like in sports or video games, but.. learn to accept the loss - especially when the ramifications mean only beans or internet points. Atleast it isn't alimony, back taxes, or tickets.

It's not as bad as it may seem. I chose google sheets cause its on my phone so when I make purchases, I update my form inline any where I am at. I kept track of everything in the beginning, and accounted for an "overflow". Investing time in the tracking helps you become invested in your finances. I started with notepad too, but it was a pain and google sheets was super super convenient. Plus it was fun to learn the sheets coding to do little tricks.

There are lots of subreddits for this, but the easiest way I started was to keep track of everything. It will show you just how much you spend, you will become aware and cognizant of your spending, and, in turn, spend less. I made a simple google sheets tracker for month to month for awhile to keep me on rails until a habit formed, and now it's pretty automatic for me, but the main takeaway is to be aware of everything at first- track it.

Your observation is correct that it is a rare thing. A lot of us that have enough experience under our belts will tell you that what drives us in to these relationships is to procreate. We want to project and attach other ideals to it, but at the end of the day, its the natural drive to bring babies in to this world, stay in it long enough to provide and protect, and then move on. Women, by nature's design, see men as a commodity, and will measure them based on usefulness through her lens.

My personal best is not based on anyone else. I do not depend or rely on what a woman thinks of me, but I would value her to the same measure as any other person. You are already becoming dependent on this person, and you are giving her control over how you view yourself. It will only intensify until the mental image she sees you as fades away and, in turn, leaves you.

"they" are not "targeting" white children. prejudice and discrimination study commonly uses both black and white races since there is a lot of history and well documented cases regarding race in prejudice and discrimination. You just showed us question 1 of 10, but I assure your text will also talk about "black children" as well.

Gotta invest in yourself You need an education that translates in to real work or get in to a skilled trade career path. We are looking at computer/internet security, the aviation industry, or even a mechanic. Ultra edit: take responsibility for the things you do for yourself. The sooner you take ownership, the faster you will take off Then there is also the military.

You will probably have a better time relating to a male therapist, and vice versa. I've been down that route, and in my experiences, there is a certain level of comfortability when you know the things you bring up are 1:1 relatable to the listener.

It's about the environment. It was easy to across "friends" in school because we all shared the same space, went through the same stuff, and was easier to find similarities. Later in life, you will have to put yourself in similar environments(probably not work), and remember it is a two way street. I highly recommend a MeetUp that shares an interest or passion in your life if that is an option in your area.

You sound young. I will give you some advice that only comes with experience and time. Men confuse admiration with attraction. We swap them out all the time, but those two concepts are different things. Just because you admire a person doesn't mean you have to sleep with them, or pay for their food, or listen to them cry over something.

Give yourself some time first. Enjoy yourself, get some amigos, go on some adventures. Depending on your age, and how disciplined you are, you will discover the approaching Marianas Trench that is your biological drive. You will learn to navigate around this.

Sounds like you live in either New York or San Francisco and you have not found your calling yet. Men need a purpose in life. Heck, man or woman, you need a purpose, but men tend to define themselves on how handy they are, even to themselves. Get serious about a hobby, get focused on something you are passionate about OTHER THAN WORK. Work to live, not live to work.

Two people can eat together and pay for their share. It's about context. Pick an interesting place to eat at for the both of you, so instead of "let me show you how much money I may spend on you" to "Let us enjoy drinks, a good conversation, and see what's good to eat at this joint". Generally, our mindset is to steer clear from engaging women. If you do go on a "date", it should be less about what you can provide to her now, and more focused on learning about each other and enjoying the venue.

You will want to grow as a person first. Find out for yourself what it means to be a man. Self discovery is very important. You become invested and understanding is as unique as a fingerprint. You are young. A family is not a destination. It still requires adults and their full breadth of experiences to drive that train. Acquire a good life for yourself first, and ask yourself that same question later on. Date, go on trips, adventures, find success and grow yourself.

Dude, live a good life for yourself first. Find out what you are made of, make something of yourself, and then revisit your initial notion. When you become a father, you are an expression of who you are from the day you were born up to that moment(for the most part). The experience you instill, your level of patience, outlook on life, are but a snapshot you pass on to your offspring. I've raised children(not my own) in to adulthood and I'm not even 40 yet. If I choose to ever do a second round, …

It goes against what we learn as boys as we grow up, but it's the men who experience the classical notion of "love" versus women. At the core, it goes beyond any utilitarian need - which is great, because we start with the practical and what works FIRST.

I don't mean to open the can of worms, but it is merely based on context. "life" relating to the topic of abortion is really about "person-hood" "life" relating to our solar system and other exoplanets is in comparison to our own planet.

That's what a good lawyer is for, and, if you can manage it, good path of communication with your partner. It doesn't have to be ugly, but you have to raise your game if they take you down that river.

You strike a very important fundamental fact about life that a lot of people forget, and it helps to be reminded, and you strike that chord precisely. You mater to yourself first. If you have a family and children, hopeful you have a strong sense of self and you can share that and your offspring will be that better off. But when you have just yourself and you no longer meet those societal requirements, you have to take care of your requirements and maintain purpose in your life.

I think this actually speaks for the male's nature as a whole. We generally take great care for things we value and admire. Pygmalion was given a great gift, the ideal gift in his circumstance. A story from a man's ultimate desire for companionship from a woman on his terms- a dream.
