I ask myself this all the time. I know it’s generally inadvisable to express MGTOW ideas around family, but whenever I do, I’m told that these problems have been around since the “drugs, sex, and rock n roll” era. (Not sure when that was, 60’s, 70’s?) My father in particular is always telling me, “You just need to get out there and make the most of it. Stop thinking so negatively about things. The right woman is out there. I had to struggle with these things the same as you do.”

I think there’s some truth to what he’s saying (he’s been through some real shit when it comes to crazy women). But he did find my mom and they’ve been married ever since.

I can’t break this feeling that things are worse now than they were even then. The internet, social media, politics, religion - all of these things have changed drastically over the past fifty years, right?

What are your thoughts?

Edit: Thanks for all the replies.
