I'm a nightclub and bar bouncer and most of the times I refuse a girl entry due to intox or attitude she will start crying.. all my friends are in there .... it's my birthday.... my boyfriend just dumped me ... etc etc etc etc always crying and always bargaining and lying to try to suck me into changing my mind . Listen to any athlete give their award speech for the hall of fame or MVP and you can hear that raspy, out of breath, can barely understand them voice when they talk. When you're really emotional and crying, you can barely get the words out and it always sounds like you're struggling to say 1 word. I've only heard women cry like that a few times.

I wouldn't say on command. But definitely very easy when they feel they need to. For them, crying is a firm of weapon and defense. Guys don't abuse crying for attention or help, girls do.

Yes, they do.

But I found it always easy to distinguish whether the crying is coming from true sadness or from manipulation.

When you are truly sad you don't cry about yourself, you cry about the loss or injury to something beyond yourself. There is a longing in the crying, something that tries to reach for the unreachable.

On the other hand, manipulative crying is more like screaming. It's the demand for attention, a grab for power. A "look at me, I am suffering" attitude. One can sense that.

True sadness doesn't demand anything, it just faces what is.
