In my experience living in 6 countries and traveling to many parts of the world. The more socialist a country is, the less generous and considerate the people are. Go to Germany and you will see everyone is more or less a selfish asshole, that's because they get taxed at 45-50% minimum.

Go to Canada, and everyone is super nice, that's because on average they get taxed 20-30%.

Socialism breeds selfish assholes because it makes everyone equal, EQUALLY POOR. Instead of having an unequal society, due to people having incentive to work hard, socialism kills that incentive and has an equally POOR society.

You can only pick two scenarios:

Some rich, some middle class, and some poor (More capitalistic)

OR

Everyone equally poor (More socialist)

The thing is, humans can only afford to be generous once they have met their needs. You cannot force altruism on a poor society. So socialism is a negative paradox. It forces altruism on society, but at the same time it makes society poor. Capitalism on the other hand allows people to get their needs met fairly quickly, which allows people the freedom to be altruistic, it won't be FORCED altruistic, but they will be altruistic. They will give money to the people they think deserve money rather than the government giving it to the "victim class".

This approach forces the assholes to become nicer otherwise they won't get money from their friends, since individual people work on a reciprocation theory (scratch my back, i'll scratch yours), whereas government turns a segment of the population into a "victim class" and dumps tax payer money on them. This gives incentives for people to be the victim, because they get financially rewarded for it, rather than improve themselves, whereas capitalism gives people the incentive to improve themselves. Now you know why feminists and BLM exist, because of socialism.

Socialism = race to the bottom (self-destruction) into the victim class.

Capitalism = race to the top (self-improvement) into the winner class.

At least if you aim for the stars you can land on the moon, you may not be super rich in Capitalism, but you'll be financially independent and have your needs met for the rest of your life, rather than depend on a government pension which ends up lost on immigrants or some fiscal deficit bullshit.

People are going broke all over the western world. Women included. You have to also remember that a lot of these women are carrying a huge student debt loads from their worthless degrees. So they are looking for men as a bailout. Everyone is broke. I read that half the municipalities in Germany (of all places) are technically bankrupt. The point being, is that everyone now has a hand in someones pocket. Everyone is looking for a bailout or a handout. But most people have no money. The states have no money either. Microcosm reflects the macrocosm. The banks can't even print money fast enough to cause hyperinflation because everyone is so broke that all the printed money goes to the black hole of debt. So that's why everyone has a hand in your pocket. It's gonna get a lot worse too.

What exactly are you referring to? Friends, family, coworkers, charities?

I would lend some money to family if the situation really called for it. I wouldn't lend it to friends as this is a surefire way to break a friendship, and all charities are scams. They keep asking for money yet there is nothing to prove the money goes towards people who really need it

I would also say if you don't make very much then look into lowering your reported income down so that you get to move below the tax threshold if possible, then you don't have to pay anything. Maybe you can make some contributions to a Tax Free Savings account or put into your retirement scheme and get a write off.

I remember I gave $10 to a girl co-worker collecting money for "a sick family member." The bitch didn't even say thank you. I gave her a nasty tongue-lashing for her lack of manners.
