I switched over from being an IT tech to becoming a Hospital Porter. The money is less, but it’s less stress.

Well, apart from the dead children I see from time to time.

I do 3 long days, and I have 4 days a week off to fall in love with computers all over again :)

I change my job every 2- 3 years, every time my job is something I've never done before. Its awesome general and people experience. Until I get bored and change it again. I was from grass trimmer to Dominos pizza delivery guy to the Production Manager and I recently change job again to the low bottom And I go up again. I had so many interviews over the years I am not even stressed on them and talk freely. I know my CV and I know my shit. I can't get my head around on people working the same job for 10-15 years, its like prison sentence to me.

Anyway, this keeps me happy and occupied. Hope this helps.

All in all it looks hard because it’s new, but exactly this is the fun fact, try something new, different. After short period of time you adapt and get used to the new situation and sometimes you start over again...

It was great! A lot of guys going into trades are not kids anymore but guys that got out of school, worked dead end jobs and got sick of it. You sure won’t be the youngest but you will have a lot of company. I’m much happier, made good coin, but there still was some stress until you find your spot in the system.

I was in show-business for the last 10yrs, was building my own thing little by little. This year, the "pandemic safety measures" butt-fingered everything in to ashes...

Though I am not happier, I believe that at the end I got a chance to fight for my dreams.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who is struggling these days!
