This is the only sane place in NYC. The rest of it is a dump. I don't know the whole city is just full of weirdos from The subways to the streets.

Unless you are rich. I find NYC as the only city in US with skyscrapers that fit. Unlike Philadelphia let's say. Other than that and this park, NYC can be quiet disturbing indeed...

I’ve been to nyc once and fucking hated every second of it. The whole city smelled like garbage, it was always loud, and people were rude and crowded. Fuck nyc

Manhattan as a whole is a shithole. Same goes for downtown areas of other boros. Having said that, there's really nice hidden areas in and around the five boros.

I took my kid there in 2015 and we had a blast, stayed a week. I'd like to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. There was too much to do and see, one trip wasn't enough. Enjoy brother.
