Every day I "go to" work (not anymore, thanks 'rona) and am faced with the knowledge that the people in charge are the least qualified and least intelligent. Not one of them could do any of the job tasks that we have to do to make the company actually function, they exist in a weird business bubble where all that matters is their spreadsheets and quarterly earnings reports.

Something that's mind boggling to me is to go back and look at how things were 10/15 years ago.

I watched a couple of episodes of Las Vegas, the TV show that was on from like 05-09, really enjoyed the show when it was on.

It's actually painful to watch now, The show is incredibly mild compared to some of the great comics from the past, but I doubt even that show would fly today. It joked about everything we can't joke about today, homosexuality, transexuals, race, women, all of it. All of the jokes were decent to, it's not a comedy show it's primarily a drama, but the jokes and the characters joking with one another about their differences comes off as genuine, that's something we don't have anymore. oddly, the one subject that never gets joked about, not even once, is politics.

We can't joke about race, or gender, or sexuality anymore.. instead we're relegated to tens of thousands of hours of political commentary. Some of it is serious, some of it is allegedly comedy, but it's all political now. I feel like the last actually funny political commentary I saw was Jon Stewart on the daily show, i'm a staunch conservative but Jon was decently funny and was good at delivery, his replacement however, Is the most unfunny douchebag i've ever seen in my life. To me the Daily show with Trevor Noah is unwatchable, every time he opens his mouth something comes out that just makes him look like the biggest tool on the fucking planet. I don't see how he ever made it as any sort of comedian, and this is with I assume an entire staff of professional writers.

I miss comedy, I missing joking around and watching others joke around. How ironic it is that in clown world, nobody laughs.

This is most definitely how I feel in today’s world. Common sense and truth are nowhere to be found. People are basing their “common sense” off of lies.

Even if real, viruses are not contracted in the air, and masks will do absolutely fuck all. Anyone truly awake understands that, therefore they see no necessary reason to wear a mask.

And then if you don’t wear their muzzle, you’re seen as “not having common sense,” when you in fact have the MOST common sense.

It’s not my responsibility to protect you and cater to your fears. If you fear getting a “virus,” then wear a fucking full mask that covers your entire God damn head. I don’t know what to tell you.
