lol men are statistically not nearly as picky about breast or lips, as women are for jaw definition and height. Not even close

Because the keys to true sexual attraction are different for men and women. Jaw surgery is a pretty intense form of ‘glowing up’

I wish I had more time for a response, but I have a couple thoughts I can give real quick— You’re already making moves, asking the right questions and doing it for the right reasons. In one respect that puts you ahead of many people. Get a much better working understanding of courage. Your examples, I.e. fighting lions or whatever is not courage. THIS. My new favorite post in this sub. I’ve said something similar for a while: do not be upset by what you can’t control, instead find a way to benefit. Exist within and without the system; benefit from both. Great post dude.

Yeah it’s a fools errand to make prediction at that scale, for sure. Just having fun with biological/cultural predictions ;) And yeah, nothing fundamental will change, that’s one prediction that’s actually pretty easy. AWAW: all women are women... and they always will be.

I have a sliver of hope for SOME aspects of 2030s women (as far as culture goes. Biology still dissuades next from relationships). And I think 2020 guys are gonna be pretty tough by the year 2045

Sorry to hear you had to go thru that stress. Yeah don’t get me wrong, we have a long rocky road ahead, and, at least for some of us more individualistic men, relationships are just never really going to be wanted. But there’s going to be a tipping point where the average man has tapped out too much from modern society and dating, and when that equilibrium starts to hit I predict a mass (albeit minor) behavioral change. Most dudes who are 1 blowjob away from the plantation will head on back. But…

AWALT is referring to universality of behavior, not one behavior specifically. You misunderstand my argument, hypergamy doesn’t not follow food and water, I am merely using food and water to simply illustrate universal behaviors, since it seems to be hard to grasp for many. Hypergamy too is in fact universal. Again, the differences you are seeing have more to do with differences of circumstance to the individual, not differences in inherent human traits. All women attempt to maximize their matin…

I’ve thought often about this too, as I’m in the young and never married crowd (thanks to the OGs for imparting their knowledge and allowing me to learn from other’s mistakes). I don’t think it’s likely that anyone who thinks this way is likely to get married, however, I see our trend combining with the trend of young women, and a new type of ‘dating emerging’. The next generation of women is going to look very harshly at the women of our generation (it’s already happening), and in their quest t…

Man again, excellent excellent post. Haha can’t believe I actually got a good read out of a post as absolutely fucking low IQ as OP’s post haha. Yeah I have quite a bit of interaction with disenfranchised young men in my real life, and although I’d never mention mgtow to them, I hope that I do my small part to push them to a life where they can at least get some contentment and enjoyment despite women behaving viciously to them. Glad you’re out there doin your part too, much appreciated.

AWALT: all women need food, for example. Disagree?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 07:40 AM

That’s true, I wouldn’t want another human being as a prize. How about an award
/r/MGTOW224/01/21 07:39 AM
3

lol well.. I don’t think you having much of a grasp of the term incel.. because if the men on here have had relationships with women... then, by definition, these men are not involuntarily celibate. Moreover, the definition is in the name: MGTOW, meaning men going their own way, implies that the lifestyle is voluntary. Not INvoluntary. As in, not involuntarily celibate. Proven wrong. What’s my prize?

It’s shocking to me that this is at all controversial, or perceived as negative... AWALT just encapsulates the concept that all women are women. The female sapiens has universal behavioral traits. Any perceived differences have more to do with the circumstances of the individual, than they have to do with conscious choices or personality; For example, all female sapiens will behave the virtually the same and within a narrow scope of behavior when faced with the same environmental circumstance, l…

It extremely hard to weigh the risks. Anything could have happened when I let that kid into my house... and then it would have been just another failure, and another teaching point to never lend a hand. I don’t know the answer. But someone once took a risk for you, and for me. So maybe we take just 1 risk too, and pay it forward. Glad to hear it man, I hope you keep pushing and doing well for yourself.
/r/MGTOW220/01/21 09:20 PM

Same. Unfortunately it wasn’t very organic to mention mgtow or anything, but we discussed the ideas in no unclear terms. We together got to conclusion that maybe he wants to take a break from women, and focus on himself. We’ll see, maybe the seed grows

I am struggling with this too. I met a kid recently who has an eating disorder. I just wanna help the dude out. But the risk is too great, the effort could steer me off course, and has in the past proven to be dangerous too many times. So I do nothing. I’m not particularly good at this part, but something tells me the trick is to first treat yourself the way you would want to treat someone else who you care deeply about. In many ways, yes, but also in many ways society expects less of you, which gives you a freedom that our ancestors never experienced. For example, we’re no longer expected to serve in a military force, marry, have kids, die for king and country, etc, to the same extent as the vast majority of our male ancestors had pressure to do. In a sense, modern ‘equality’, has actually provided many unforeseen benefits to men, if one has the savvy to take advantage.

Dude, great title, that was the white pill I needed for the day. Yeah that’s great. Happy for him. There’s plenty of girls like that, I know many myself. I’ve even dated a 9/10 unicorn. They’re still biologically female, and sharing life with another person still infringes on a man’s autonomy. There’s no counter argument to female biology. AWAW, All Women Are Women: a much better acronym than awalt.

Great question. I don’t have a good answer, but the thought that came to mine first is that we are in such an Unprecedented time, that our hero has not existed yet. However, because we are the most informed populace in the history of the planet, we have the benefit of assembling our own archetypal figures from the puzzle pieces of history. Strive to be your own hero. That is MGTOW.

No, I am MGTOW so that I am free, and can continuously be working on building autonomy. Any relationship where the other is reliant on my resources and time impedes that’s autonomy. Completely agreed. Autonomy is built, and it is possibly the most important thing to the philosophy, and to man’s life. The most important move is to pursue a career that genuinely interests you, so that you never get burnt out. You become addicted to it, and the money will follow easily. Be interested and passionate. Saving is great, but it’s always speculative. Instead, focus on always leveraging your current position into positions to make more money. Account for skills acquisition as you go;…

Hi Will, My worry is that you are incentivized to focus on the more extreme people who identify with the acronym, as opposed to covering some of the philosophies and rationalities that have contributed to the personal choice a man might make to not get married or be in a long-term relationship. Can you address this concern? Anyway, best of luck on the piece and I hope that it is done in good faith.

I... think you just proved my point? Correct me if I’m wrong but TRP is just an observation of mating behaviors, boiled down to their essentials. Sure, it has focus on the majority generalities, and sure you can give me anecdotal examples of people outside these generalities, but you are confirming that there are a variety of evolutionarily beneficial mating strategies. Some of which is the focus of TRP due to these strategies being in the majority, more common, more adaptive. If these weren’t t…

Agreed, I think that is one of the things that make his thinking superior, and his success and admiration is a testament to that. I only say it is tough but worth the read because many of the younger men I have recommended it to do not have any experience reading in a style other than modernist writings, and so I acknowledge that it can be a tough read to give them confidence that it’s not their own intellect that’s diminished. But I assure them that it’s worth it.

You’re right, I misunderstood OPs question, I was thinking only about the bonding chemicals, oxytocin, vasopressin, dopamine that are involved and released during mate selection and mating as a means to drive mammals to reproduce and care for their young. As for those chemicals used to actually bond with a member of the opposite sex, yes that is very rare in terms of monogamy. My understanding was that lifelong monogamy is even rarer than 5% right?

You are not a mind reader. A hostile comment does not equate to hate. And if that is actually your goal... I highly recommend reading up on persuasion, because what you’re doing is backfiring. There might be men on here who do genuinely hate women. What do you think the solution is? I’d recommend an empathetic dialogue with the person. Not shaming, not trying to tell them that they ‘don’t understand a fact’ (your post).
/r/MGTOW222/12/20 11:10 PM

Clearly not. The point of MGTOW is to have an understanding of human nature, both male and female. What you’re witnessing and having a reaction to is the younger guys who get their first glimpse of the truth of the ugly side of female behavior and have a (sometimes) understandably hostile reaction to it. Imagine no one ever told you about the acts of violence a man is capable of. And then all of a sudden you become informed about male domestic abuse. You’d probably say some rather hostile things…

I value attention from women when it’s from an interesting and meaningful interaction, usually not distinct from the same type of male attention I value. As far as female-specific attention, like sexuality, I value it very little; the market is very saturated.

Honestly it might even be better this way, a true lesson in going your own way; a lot of these types of people can act psychopathic when exposed to rational discourse: they listen to you but use that information to further their own cause at all times. They can use it to get better at hurting you. It has nothing to do with truth, and more so to do with their quest for power that is usually behest to their compulsions. Be careful out there.

I think you’ll find that most men here are very liberal, in the true sense of the word. ‘Live and let live’ type of thinking. We generally do not care what others do with themselves. You’ll also find that most men here are against leftism, because it generally is an ideological view of the world, is an inaccurate portrayal of truth, and often has a viewpoint of coercion and control against individuals, which is antithetical to a philosophy of going one’s own way.

I see both as likely simultaneously. Look at South Korea and the commonplace practice of cosmetic surgery. I think as this gets cheaper and less taboo, we’ll see this all over the world. If masculinity is anything, it certainly doesn’t include weakness or stupidity, harassment or bullying. “The word ‘red’ describes the color ‘blue’. Now I’m going to redefine the word ‘red’ to mean ‘green.’ “ Okay go for it?

Thanks for this, totally agree, I couldn’t care less about that man’s individual motivations, but I’d never shit on a guy for his choices.

Completely agree, be careful out there. To give an example, one of my first posts here was about why I left my last girlfriend. It was a great relationship, I just had to go my own way. I detailed out my thought process in the post, and a woman starts commenting. Within a couple comments, she starts using the word ‘abuse.’ It’s absolutely terrifying that she can just start throwing that word around; my relationship was the furthest thing from abusive you could possibly imagine, we never even got…

You lost me at ‘Men should dress like men.’ Specifically the word ‘should.’ Men should do whatever the fuck they want and not adhere to what your minuscule personal opinions on what pieces of cloth make an outfit masculine or feminine. You’re on a MGTOW sub; men will dress however the fuck they want, there’s no should in the equation. Going your own way also includes making your own decisions on clothing. Any dudes who want to rock a dress, fucking go for it, don’t let old school thinking stop y…

Maybe. I can’t say for certain what his individual motivations are, but I think if we were to take an educated guess then you’d probably be right. That being said tho, I still think that whatever a man wants to wear, he should be able to rock it without being shamed for his ‘masculinity’. I know a few guys that actually wear hats similar to the pic from 1929, and they get their masculinity called out... by other guys. I think that’s bitch behavior. One of the extremely negative sides of women’s …

It’s definitely true, I’m sure there are a variety of personality traits that, when mixed with the right environmental stimuli, culminate in this type of behavior. You could probably generalize a cluster of personality types of MGTOW-minded men and show a gradient falloff of the behaviors until you get to a point that you’d describe as bluepill. My hunch is that some prerequisites are high trait contentiousness, trait openness, a bit of dark triad, and at least average intelligence. Would be cur…

Maybe it’s because most MGTOW are actually pretty high status guys, who have plenty of experience with women, and who also had the requisite intelligence to figure out that going your own way is a far greater experience. This. Remember that women use language covertly; ‘express your emotions’ taken at face value, is certainly a good thing. When you have been wronged, anger is a natural and useful emotion. When you have spent the day with a close friend chatting about philosophy on the beach and you express joy with them, that is a great thing. When a parent passes and you express sorrow, that has meaning. But usually when we hear this phrase, it does not mean ‘have a healthy expression of neural chemical reactio…

I think that notion comes from the perception that many MGTOW have a ‘sour grapes’ attitude towards women. I don’t really get that impression from most MGTOW, but that’s the commentary I see from anyone outside our circle. But you’re probably right, I’m sure most MGTOW found out about the philosophy because they’ve had plenty of relations with women. You wrote “‘what do all women want’ is a meaningless question.” It is not. It’s a question worth considering, especially when talking about behavior, biology, and psychology. It’s also worth considering the question if you’re a man who wants to get an accurate understanding of the opposite sex, as it sounds like OP is. Muslim men pay 100% all expenses for every woman in their life, and are responsible for taking care of all aspects of a woman’s life if married. This is explicit in the Quran. And the woman’s money is still her own. It’s still women controlling the social order, it’s just a few decades behind the west. Doesn’t sound very based to me.

Thanks for the advice. Specifically needing a request from superiors- that I am going to take to heart and implement immediately. I have done so much to go out of my way to bring in projects and work that was never requested- and I get how that can be very annoying to people who just want to do a 9-5 and go home to their families. At the same time, they joined a startup and I thought they’d be way more supportive of this. Regardless, I think I am in a similar position to where you once were, so …

That’s what baffles me, we are still technically a startup, so almost everyone has just as much to gain as me (we all have equity stake). You’d think that would put everyone on the same page; not necessarily everyone has the same work output, but everyone would be very motivated and happy that I’m doin so much extra work. Now that being said, I also have sympathy for their position; I am not the most essential person, and I make mistakes because I move so fast. Not everyone has the same bandwidt…

If you give someone a ban, please explicitly state why and give them the resources to move past their redpill rage. Invite them back here. Tell them that they can vent on MGTOW1, and that we’re here for them after. There are a lot of young men just discovering this stuff, and I wouldn’t want anyone to be turned away from this content by a ban, seeing as everywhere else on Reddit people are being censored without reason. We should be here to help.

One day in the future society will have an awakening and many many men in important and influential positions will come out as MGTOW and everyone will be surprised we aren’t just a bunch of virgins. I’m kidding about the first part.

Excellent to hear on your business pursuit, not only because you must have an incredible, competent relationship with your father, but also because that is a great attitude to have towards it. Best of luck in those pursuits, that’s a recipe to have a very meaningful work life. The first point I think is one very often overlooked. Men get very early validation from their mother, and often this is not something that is for the child’s sake, but rather for the mother’s ego. This will usually last a lifetime, and set the child on a path to constantly seek the same validation patterns from women that don’t necessarily benefit the man directly, but benefit his derived sense of self that is dependent on the attention and validation from the opposite sex. Often, and predictab…

Excellent point. This is why I’m actually not very critical of the ever-advancing hysteria of the average feminist. It’s not malicious; when they write articles about ‘air conditioning sexism’, they are being sincere. We evolved to read threats into our environment, even if the threat is a false positive. Just because we live in the safest, most privileged society in all of history, does not mean that the threat response dissipates. Women will continuously read false positives, and act on them w…

I have gotten lots of wisdom from Rollo Tomassi and his gang. No disrespect. But I have noticed that they are super quick to shit on mgtow, while simultaneously admitting that we are correct. Always a lukewarm response. I believe that this is because they can’t sell anything to mgtow, so we’re automatically a slight threat. Loss is a very hard one, especially when there are people that can be blamed for it. In modern society we are very removed from loss because of our lifespans and individualism, so it can be very shocking and hard to deal with. But you are doing everything right, you’re reaching out, you’re considering the people around you and what roles they play in your life. I am not thrilled with the prospect of being the sole stakeholder, as I like the thought of working with like minded people, as a passionate team. It’s true. I love putting in extra work, going above and beyond. I can’t imagine having a ‘job’. But I am not going to lie, I am getting tired of others getting upset by this, instead of being grateful. Being intimidated by it, instead of excited. Cutting me down instead of building me up. lol ‘to be a part of mgtow’. It’s not a group, it’s just an acronym to loosely describe the simple philosophy of maximizing one’s own autonomy and freedom. Necessarily, being in a relationship, of any kind, be it employment, romantic, platonic, etc, limits one’s autonomy and freedom. And so it’s encumber upon the individual to decide, which relationships will limit their autonomy to a point where They are no longer okay with the relationship. Venting is not hatred. Trust me, I understand the need for a sub like this to have a dispassionate analytical view of human nature, and to encourage men to get past the rage-stage. It’s just simply my opinion that this sub should be more lenient on those venting. Just because there are rules, does not mean that I don’t have an opinion about them. I am on this sub because I know the need for an analytical view of going one’s own way is necessary. However I am also on this sub because I am not a f…

I’d rather have men post about what they want. If they need to vent, I am incredibly happy that they have a space to do so. For many, it is the best way to get past the rage-stage, and move onto self reflection and self work.

Any sort of involuntary infringement on one’s autonomy. Women are a big one, and (for some) the most obvious. But certainly there are other landmines, like governments, employers, friends, peers, bad health, finances, that can all have detrimental effects to your autonomy. Continue building, every level will release new shackles.

I have your answer. It’s difficult, but it’s the most powerful rule you can possibly live your life by. The 1 Strike rule. Define your principals, write them out, edit and improve on them often. If anyone crosses these principals knowingly, cut them out of your life, immediately. One strike. Your boss, your girl, your best friend, whoever. One strike. It requires a great deal of autonomy and fortitude to apply this, but once you can... You’ll be unstoppable. I once I had a girlfriend use name-ca…

Yeah dude be incredibly incredibly cautious, it might not seem like it but you are in a very dangerous situation. For a technical analysis, you can’t beat Barbarossa and Colltaine (YouTube channels). From there I’d recommend progressing to Quasimandias, for a much larger view of reality than you possibly imagined. His might be the greatest YouTube channel ever created. And try to avoid the red-pill rage stuff. I know it’s tempting, especially coming from a place of abuse like it sounds like you are. I think culture is going to be much more of a determining factor here. Though I get why it’s so often confused with race. Some of the most incredible women I’ve ever met were East African women immigrated to the US. You’re right, and brave, to look reality in the eye and not take the bullshit from either your therapists or the incels. I sincerely hope your writing to your government was better than your writing here. Regardless, I’m fully in support of your decision, it’s nothing short of heroic. As an anonymous coward with good reasons myself, I really wish you well. Please share updates, I’m fascinated by this response; I have libertarian wet-dreams myself about doing something similar at a point in my life. Peaceful, rational protest for the sake of civilizational morals is a very high form of excellence. If I can offer an…

MGTOW1 is about the usual first phase, the red-pill rage phase. Once you’re able to start getting over that come over here to MGTOW2 and start the real journey. The 2 go well with each other; they offer the complete package of online, anonymous therapy. Remember, the reason you see a constant stream of complaints of women’s nature over there is just because there are continuous newbies. It not like it’s the same guys year after year; it’s just part of the new cycle.

Haha the hostility between to 2 subs makes me laugh; OP is right, each sub to each their own. They’re complimentary. Start with red-pill rage, get it out anonymously there, when finished hop over here to start the next phase of the process

How do you know that? It sounds like you’d like help rationalizing your mediocrity, so you never have to see if you you can be excellent. Maybe you really are just average. Or maybe you’re more. You decide.

My care is fading. I try to push it to fade faster, but then I see some terribly fucked up thing in the world, though my tolerance for hearing about humans horrible behavior is so high already it’s kinda worrying. I don’t think it’s something one can rush, you just have to let the waves of indifference continue to crash into your psyche, at their own pace. But don’t worry, society will keep that pace and continue to jade us all..

Excellent work; these are the best kinds of posts. I recently re-watched a few episodes of The Office (I enjoyed it as a kid). It was so fucking eye opening. Jim is the biggest pussy whipped simp, and Pam is a chillingly hypergamous amoral leech. My family, who I watched it with, did not understand what I was ‘over reacting to.’ But don’t worry, we have Frank Underwood as a role model. The most powerful man in the world, still a simp. You could be right.

I’ve actually asked a few of of my gay friends this (males), as I’m fascinated by the question as well. My suspicion is that, just like rates of domestic abuse, negative effects from relationships are far fewer for gay male relationships than any other type of relationship. It’s still an infringement on ones autonomy, but I have a suspicion they don’t have nearly as many of the negative physiological effects as strait relationships.

This is a great question in my opinion, and would prove that this is a realized mode of thought, and not simply a prejudice we have. For me, I simply would need to see that, in fact, male and female nature are complimentary and beneficial to each individual. This could be shown through simple statistics. If the majority of relationships self-reported that their well-being was enhanced, year after year, by being in a relationship with the opposite gender, and then physiologically verified that th…

This actually kind of hit me. It’s sad that a young man can be so close to figuring out a much larger, more purposeful picture, and you were generous enough to add mother few drops of knowledge, only to be sabotaged by censorship. It strikes me as evil. I’m mostly over the grieving part of the journey, but every once in a while something like this just hits me in the wrong way. I hope that young man read your comment. I hope he keeps pushing hard.

I genuinely hope that all the guys stuck in the red-pill rage phase go through that emotion healthily, and then keep going. I feel your pain. It warrants its own post, but I have had similarly destructive experiences with women in the workplace. If you value yourself, you have a much better chance of valuing the effort that’s required to attain wealth. Others can’t value your wealth; they don’t know what it took to attain it. Be extremely careful with this majority of people, their envy is only held back by a thin veil of social restrictions. Jesus. I’m borderline sociopathic and I can’t even fathom doing something as pointless and degenerate as a rape. Only a pointless fucking loser would engage in such an immoral and empty act. Among other reasons, it gives power back to the disenfranchised. Most people have no power and no autonomy in their lives, and when they see unlikely candidates to become empowered, like average men, their emotional response is a cocktail of negativity, jealousy, and hostility. MGTOW saves lives. Why should our lives be saved before any one else’s? Because we dared look for truth.

I’m sure we all, to varying degrees, have this feeling. It sounds like yours is lasting longer than most of us, but listen, if you’re using that emotion to fuel your purpose, at least it’s being somewhat constructive. Appreciate that. Yeah the the most difficult cost benefit analyses are the most important, and it always pained me to see great men look the other way when they should have been staring it in the face. I see blindness everywhere, men not taking a good hard look and making the difficult decision that the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. I’m sure sometimes it is worth the squeeze. But all too often I see men half-heartedly squeezing, not realizing that there are other options.

Agreed with all. I think most of the red-pill rage MGTOW just can’t admit to themselves that they’re also losers, and that’s why they attract losers into their life. MGTOW makes the most sense if you’re actually on a path to better yourself; not because you’ve invited other terrible people into your life because you yourself are terrible and now want to eject without any self-reflection. I understand why this sub has the reputation it does. It’s unfortunate, but it’s important to call it what it…

I appreciate this insight. It is interesting that the same traits that attract women and keep the relationship strong are often the same ones that cause the relationship to not be compatible long term. Lifelong monogamy is undoubtedly a contentious subject. I didn’t mention anything about the dark triad, but I’m sure it’s rather obvious... I like to think it wasn’t ‘taking advantage’ or ‘manipulation’, and instead was two people having defined their own principals. But honestly it probably goes …

Man, thank you for this insight, I had not exactly considered that, but it is undoubtedly true; people change throughout their lives, and it’s not assured that the person you previously loved will keep those traits at their personalities forefront. It was only a 4 year relationship... not enough time to know. Thanks for the insight. I’ll see you around the forum

A very huge ‘if.’ I did not find it respectful when she flippantly referred to me as abusive. I am absolutely not, but that is the language that can do serious harm to someone’s life. Be careful

No, you’re wrong, and your incessant contortion of language to suit your agenda is astounding. Please get off a men’s subreddit, you’re no longer offering anything constructive

I appreciate your comments backing up this thread. I realized that the person we’re both arguing with, who is purposefully misrepresenting my experience, is a woman. I should take my own advice, but I think it’s not worth it to argue with this type of woman, it’s clear that she won’t be objective reading this stuff, that the positive aspects of my relationship are challenging to her so instead of reading what I actually said she’ll classify it as abuse. It’s the reason why we are all on here ano…

And in this comment, you reveal that you didn’t actually read my post, but instead fit it into your own biased viewpoint. Never once did I say that I never allowed her to express negative emotions, that would be cruelty and couldn’t be anything further from the truth. Try to wrap your head around this: No fighting, no violence, no bickering in a relationship. I’m going to now guess that you’re a woman, and this concept is so foreign to you, and you yourself have never even attempted this sort of…

She is better off without me, I agree. I’m certainly not controlling, but I could agree with the manipulation. I hope it was mostly positive, but manipulation nonetheless. What do you think my aversion to emotional expression tells?

Spot on. A lot of the rage you see on these types of subs is just from young guys who are fresh off a bad relationship. I think most of us get to the point where we realize it’s just nature, and the tension we have with female nature is merely our past desires and preconceptions clashing with reality. Look deeper than these ‘red-pill rage’ posts, there is a world of information worth considering here. I recommend 2 YouTubers specifically: Colltaine and Quasimandias. Welcome.

I could care less about a the social hierarchy and that always makes Chad nervous, but at the end of the day he’s a guy too and can be treated as such.

You already know the answer. Just wanted to say that what your doing is nothing short of heroic. Great question, one that I’ve considered for many years. My ex, the most incredible woman I’ve ever met, is from Uganda, and she comes from a large family that I might describe as lovingly patriarchal. Great relationship with her father, excellent relationship material herself. I love her, but I still went my own way. The family life I’m sure would have been great, and purposeful. I had dreams of leaving the US and raising a family with her in her home country, being a full-time father. But I wo…

No disrespect, can I ask how old you are? That sounds like a very binary description of masculinity, what it is and what it isn’t. I’ve heard very similar things from my grandfather. He thought that if a boy didn’t play sports, he’d turn out gay. It’s worth considering, that a man could be going his own way, and still be into some of the things you listed above. He could have built the autonomy and empowered himself to live a life free of judgement to engage in whatever he wants. I know a very e…

I highly recommend Quasimandias’s collection on YouTube. He nails it in his first couple videos. It’s to be expected; everyone is drawn to strength. It doesn’t mean they’ll have a healthy relationship with it, but they’ll be drawn to it. And they’ll be drawn to anyone exhibiting strength, and if they get their way (their subconscious way), they’ll destroy that strength, they’ll push it down into the depths of weakness. Highly recommend looking into the US Dollar Milkshake Theory. You can hear about it on Nuggets News YouTube channel, or on Real Vision Finance. So dollars will flow all around the world, losing value, but sucking everything else down with it. Dollars will be worth something for quite some time. Always hated the concept of a job, focused on a career- a life- instead. They’re very very very rare but I know a few that I think do understand, do varying degrees of depth. It will always be an exterior understanding because it lacks specific experiences, but it’s still a type of understanding. My lifestyle also self selects for these types of individuals, so for however rare they are to me, I’d expect them to be many times rarer for most people. But I do think that…

Also I’m not so sure we’re ‘taught’ that men fuck anything, I think it’s because men actually do try to fuck anything. Just look at the comments to my post, half think I’m a lizard person, just for not being that interested in sex all the time. I get that reaction a lot from men; they can’t believe it. And the irony is, they’re right: its me that’s the weird one. Most men are completely captive…

Never heard that term before, but interesting to flip the concept from the (usually) misused term incel. I’m interested to hear from volcels too. I might be able to be considered voluntarily celibate. I’ve had a ton of really incredible sex in my life with women I’ve loved, and that’s great, but it’s one amongst many meaningful things to engage in, in life. I’ve had many periods in my life where I was so focused and interested in other things, I didn’t make time for sex at all; I had many other …

Trust me, my first instinct is to mock too. I spent many years ridiculing and mocking this sort of dude. Try to get over that instinct and have some understanding, and maybe a bit of empathy; much more peaceful life. Best of luck.

I think that is pretty typical, I’ve heard that from managers too about hiring married men. I’m in an interesting place because I’m in the tech startup world, and whenever I’m hiring I prefer single, young guys. They have the passion and purpose and can put in the crazy hours necessary. I’m also not looking for long term per say, but more contract work. Regardless understanding of this stuff is extremely useful in hiring. Still curious what industries benefit from more single men.

A lot of great comments on this post, glad to see it. I can share my 02 cents, hopefully it helps. I’m in a similar situation to you; we are some of the rare men going their own way that are not coming out of a horrific relationship. We are the few that haven’t been burned. Cherish that, and at least know that you are one of the few that got a real, purposeful ending to that chapter in your life. Best to leave it that way, and not tarnish your memories or your perception of her, because remember…

Good on you for holding yourself principals in place. I know it’s hard to do, but having a 1 strike rule is a powerful standard in life.

You’re not wasting time, don’t worry, that’s the purpose of a forum. If you’re worried you’re not ‘good enough’, your probably right. But is that your own standard, or other people’s? Either way, it’s worth paying attention to. Once you figure out where you’re getting that feeling from, do what you have to do to make yourself ‘good enough’. Pro tip: when you’re ‘good enough’ by your own standards, you’ll stop caring about other people’s standards, and more than likely you’ll also start attractin…

Would post more but I’m strapped for time today. My 02 cents: The best plan is to be well diversified across 3 major areas. Diversity of location. Be able to go in and out of the ‘system’ seamlessly. Be able to go in and out of your job, country, city, culture, industry, family, etc, and try to be equally diverse in each of these (I.e. being able to work in multiple different industries, or live in multiple different countries.) Go in to the system to extract resources, go out to invest. Make su…

I’m planning on writing posts about it in the future. I’ll just say for now that the path of partnership, a long-term relationship, with a good woman can be a great life. But I decided that the path alone was even greater. Every man must choose.

Every choice in life means forgoing a thousand other choices. If I chose those relationships, I wouldn’t be able to be where I am now. I’m here now because I didn’t choose those relationships.

Could be. Couples that I noticed acted a bit cold to us when they saw our affection ranged from people married 25+ years, to new couples, so not sure about the polyamorous/monotonous sampling. Definitely times have changed. People have a much higher threshold now than back then. My girlfriend and I were ‘scolded’ by my grandma for pda that we didn’t even think was inappropriate in the slightest, ha. As for mental health benefits of strong intimacy, the effects that kind of love has is great phys…

Great question. Without using the acronym, or any other identifying language, I’ve described it to others as creating as much liberty in life as possible. This can be done in a wide variety of ways; to name a few: -choosing which government to live under (if any) -not having a boss or working for someone else, or working a job only for money -not having any relationship that negatively impacts your freedom, having the choice to only choose positive relationships that respect your individuality -…

This is interesting, it’s almost the opposite to my anecdotal experience. I’m in California USA, and with my last LTR we always remarked at how little public intimacy we observed (I.e. holding hands, hands on small of back, kiss+hug when meeting up, etc). It always seemed to me that the women I observed were very cold, and the men were very timid. My girlfriend and I would get comments from other couples about how we looked like we had just started dating, or that we were the most ‘touchy’ coupl…

Would be interested to hear more about this. I’ve been red pilled since I was very young and dropped them everywhere I went... caused trouble and put me in danger many times. Believe it or not it was the advice of a girlfriend that helped me realize my being so generous with my knowledge was not, in fact doing me any favors. I was never trying to ‘red pill’ anyone, I was only ever just exploring subjects, but people have a very hard time going there. Now I’m pretty much anonymous mode, much bett…

This is an excellent addition, thanks for the comment. I’m an atheist myself and it took me a while to get to this point of view, but I found these texts astoundingly insightful in a way that’s becoming lost as a casualty of scientific understanding and modernization.

Understandable why no one has commented yet. An Interesting and tough subject; fitting and nerve wracking for my first post ever. This is also my first real day living the philosophy (but that story is for another post), so thank you to all the great minds that have helped advance these areas knowledge. Ok- Holy Texts and Women. I’d count the holy texts among the works that have contributed to mankind’s understanding of human behavior, and of course women’s behavior too. Looking at religion’s ad…
