Based on the unemployment/underemployment numbers there are 5m-9m MGTOW men in America constituting over 10% of the workforce.

The only group not panicking over this is MGTOW itself. Maybe you guys shouldn't have beaten the golden goose so hard? Maybe? Nah, double down with shaming and targeted taxes and laws cmon negative reinforcement worked so well in the past it's certain to work this time.

The word is definitely getting out. Even though people don't use the term MGTOW, I'm noticing more and more people are agreeing with the fundamental idea behind it.

It's like going your own way is becoming universally understood as doing what's worth it

This assumes the numbers are as they appear.

Reddit has been known to hide or outright misrepresent subscriber numbers for many subs. I'd take it with a grain of salt. Odds are it is in fact much higher.

54,000 is cool, but it might just be the tip of the iceberg; there could be 1,000,000 who routinely lurk, but haven't subscribed. I lurked here a long time before I subscribed.

MGTOW is not a movement and it's not about a growth in numbers.

Consider this: a lot of MGTOW use throwaway accounts to preserve anonymity. I'm not sure if it's at a higher proportion than the general subreddit, but not all of those 54K are active users. Yes, we have a very active userbase, but that, too may be accounted for by a very active 20%.

The point is: now that you're a man going your own way convention is not something to look to for validation.

I don't mean this with ill-will, but I'd be happy if MGTOW was just as it was when it was smaller and new. Smaller and dynamic or large and difficult to move, which do you prefer?
