Yep, best decision I ever made. Takes about an hour and about a days recovery. vasectomies don't cut into your balls. It's just a little cut in the sack, the vas pulled out, then snipped and cauterized.

I went to a place that advertises no needle / no scalpel, and I barely felt anything and went to work that afternoon. Wore a jock for a couple days just to make sure nothing tore and everything stayed in place.

I researched it and decided not to do it. If everything goes well then it's a very minor procedure that isn't particularly painful and heals quickly. If you are one of the few men that have complications, life fucking sucks for a long long time.

Aussie here.Had it done last year.Was free on our healthcare system in West Oz.

I am 47 with 2 adult sons , so was an easy choice.

Half day in hospital , they knocked me out (my choice) out of hospital by lunchtime.

No issues , no pain , just a few itches from being shaved and the stitches in my scrotum.

You need to get off about 15 shots or so , then take a sample in for testing to get the all clear.

I had it done about five years ago. Easy. Took less than 15 minutes and the pain was next to zero. I’ve had dental cleanings more painful.

Recovery was fast. You’ll want to take it easy for a couple of days. Perfect excuse to bring in your favorite takeout food and get caught up on movies. Or....do it on a Friday and you have perfect excuse to watch football all weekend.
