my buddies always act like they are so much better than me when they have a date or a gf or a wife or whatever. Lots of condescending comments, but i love when they call me when they get kicked out every other month or need a place to crash and i just laugh at em and tell em good luck. I know thats vindictive, but im a last laugh kinda guy.

My wife lost 120 pounds (still 50 or so short of ideal), and started chatting with a "Gems of War guild." Months later, she's divorcing me, and claims that it's because I won't ask her for sex (and she left just three days before our anniversary weekend, almost as if she was trying to prevent me from having an opportunity to ask.)

Her exodus also happened a single day after I asked her for the passwords to the credit card accounts she's been running up for years. Just a co-incidence, apparently...

I have a cousin who acts the same way with his wife. They were high school sweethearts, one kid, married for about 8 or 9 years. He never went to college like he had planned to, he's already declared bankruptcy recently, she's an absolute bitch no one can stand but him, and he acts absolutely spineless now. I know she's going to divorce him and soon. I hope he's strong enough for it.

I've seen this so often in my family, it almost seems like a script that is followed.

Female cousin that married an ugly looking guy, in the military making very comfortable pay. She had a kid with him, settled into the luxurious home, and divorced him for an attractive cyclist who doesn't have much going for him besides his looks. Textbook AF/BB

And a male cousin that was divorced by his wife because he enjoyed some whisky on the weekends after a long week at a local chemical plant, loved his kid and family. He's a manager, makes plenty of money, good physical build, very charismatic. Always fun to be around. She divorced him, and within a week, she's already with a new guy who works as a sports reporter for one of the largest news channels in the area. All of her social media is plastered with her and this guy at the beach, drinking, out partying.. not hypocritical at all right? Fuck family courts. The male cousin barely gets any time with his kid now, and his life has been completely fucked by what she did, while she has no qualms at all with moving on despite breaking up a perfectly healthy family.

And my family questions why I haven't gotten married yet. Ha!
