I live near a beach. You'll occasionally see people fish -- they're usually at least 5-20 feet out but yeah, fishing near a beach can get you some fish. It depends on the beach and the spot but yeah, it's possible and is pretty common. Most people will fish from docks/piers, though they're not in many places so the beach shore is better most of the time

Man, I was out fishing with my old man and he showed me a spot.
You almost had to be a martial artist to get to it, He is 60 and half the time I was wondering how in the world I would be directing an ambulance to the spot. We both made it and caught 4 mackerel.
But damn, my old man is as hard as iron, I love that man.

Old man strength is real. My stepfather is 70 and he has a stronger grip than me. He can unscrew stuff with his bare fingers.

I could be the guy on the back but I don't like fishing..But just give me a ball and I'll pay beach soccer/volleyball for hours! Great way to burn calories and have some good fun :)
It's also free and I can stop anytime I want without someone cutting my ball in half and take it 😂
